There were some rumors surrounding him when he was called in to replace the old art instructor after they died under mysterious circumstances, but nowadays is quite popular with the students for his lenient grading and eagerness to work closely with each one to help them create things unique and special to them, and will even offer to help with personal projects during slow office hours. However, his excitement comes with the price of an intense workload, resulting in students feeling strained and exhausted by the end of the semester.
The results can't be denied, though: every single student who takes his classes experience rapid improvement. Projects that once seemed so vibrant and full of life turn dull when compared to the next, and the next after that. And Lune is quick to point this out as well, eager to build confidence in his students and help them gain the courage to be bolder with their art.

Lune can best be described as a muse, but in the most twisted of senses. He seeks to inspire artists to create masterpieces, to pour their soul into their work. He then consumes that soul, causing art and artist to deteriorate. In the past he would wriggle his way into an artist's mind, filling them with maniacal inspiration to create art for him to consume until there was nothing left of their soul, leaving a hollow corpse in his wake. Nowadays he's quite comfortable feeding on the souls of his art students, leaving each one alive but feeling drained and hollow without ever knowing the true reason why.
