A mage who just recently earned his title, and works as a librarian in the same village as Clover and Runa. Coming from a family of magicians not well-known at all, York's magic skills are very weak, and only really tend to lean towards the basics (such as levitation and lighting). Instead of making his living through magic like other witches and mages, he instead runs a small library filled with enchanted tomes and spell books that he collects. He also receives a wage for performing research on old spells in the books that he collects.

York overall is a very calm individual. It isn't often when he tends to speak above his usual soft level, and the only time he tends to gets overly excited is when he's talking about his research or recommending books for others to read. Of course, he tends to get pretty embarrassed afterwards. He's somewhat dense when it comes to most jokes, and it takes him a while to understand. He's truly the definition of a "lover not a fighter", and prefers to avoid any and all conflict that he can.

He's very eager to share his books with other people, and gets someone dejected when there haven't been a lot of visitors to his library in a while.

Info:

- As a teenager he got badly injured by a spooked horse. While he certainly doesn't blame the animal for the injuries, it gave him a life long fear of large animals like horses and cows. The injury, however, also left him with a permanent stutter.

- Due to his family's minimal magical abilities, they make their living as farmers. York is the second oldest of three siblings: he has one older sister and a younger sibling.

- His familiar is a Mourning Dove named Rikki, whom he discovered in one of his family's barns with a broken wing that never fully healed correctly.
