-Piko is the main mascot and advertiser for a brand of soda, PIKO POP! (Similar to a Ramune bottle, but with a cat-head-shaped marble). His cute appearance and charismatic personality have roped him tons of fans, and in turn, lots of money.

-He is a sweet and gentle soul at heart, but for the cameras and social media, he will play up the chaotic cat role (ie, being snarky, purposely knocking stuff over). 

-Gene-wise, Piko is a cat, despite his mostly human appearance. He is capable of shapeshifting into a domestic cat, a big cat, or a monstrosity like this. However, he always keeps himself looking as photogenic as possible, because he loves the attention he gets.

-Despite this qualifying him as a "monster", humans adore him instead of discriminate against him. Goes to show that humans love cats! Unfortunately, this doesn't score him points with his fellow monsters. They are all quite jealous of him, and many actively hate on him.

-Piko is quite naïve, and doesn't truly understand why other monsters dislike him. He grew up with humans for a majority of his life, being sheltered and pampered, that he isn't all too aware of the discrimination against his kin.

-Piko is pretty terrified of his agent, Byun Seul-Gi, who bullies him constantly.  Although she appears as human on the surface, Seul-Gi is actually a foxkind monster in disguise, and she constantly serves as Piko's one true reminder that all of his kind dislike him.

Random Facts
-Wears orange shorts, though they're hidden under his huge jacket
-Thinks the word "catboy" is a slur since that's what monsters who hate him call him
-Nails grow in fast and sharp, need constant maintenance.
-Skinny but not fit, lives primarily off junk food (and his own soda brand, he drinks that more than water)
-If sick, may shapeshift into the monstrosity mentioned above without choice
-The origin of his genes are intertwined from the marriage of a lynx-based monster woman and a human male. Human genes weaken monster ones, resulting in a kinder, more domesticated breed. There aren't many of Piko's kind due to their weaknesses. They can hardly survive in monster civilization. 
-When he was born he appeared fully human, but was extremely small, actually kitten size. (He had to be, considering his mother was in pure cat form at the time of birth). After 8 weeks with no developed cat features, his mother decided he would be able to live a better life among human civilization, and she dropped him off with a note at the richest looking house she could find.
-His first boyfriend (at 15) broke up with him because he brought them a freshly killed mouse as a gift
