Isa is meant to gather intel from places, so he plays a more low key and sneaky part in the Noble Arcane. The guilds trademark weapon is daggers, so all members are trained to use them. Isa is quick on his feet and flexible, usually making him a hard target to hit. He relies on his speed and quick thinking to get him out of most situations. When it comes down to it, he has enough skills to get him out of a sticky spot, but he's not the type of guy you would put on your front lines.

About

Isa was born into the Novlyn family, a noble family who mostly cared about how they presented themselves to society. Isa was the third born child out of 4 children all together. Due to their more cold and rigid upbringing, the siblings never all quite got along, it wasn't unusual to see verbal fights break out between them all. Isa dreaded his home life, and would often fantasize about grand adventures and such during his tutoring.

At 16, Isa was pulled off the streets, kidnapped by a group of people that were looking for Maotias to sell for unsavory purposes. Luck would have it though that the guild the Noble Arcane, was looking into this group. A week later, the guild broke into the warehouse were they kept the Maotias, and were able to dismantle the group of kidnappers. Isa was star struck by the Noble Arcane, and their leader Evan. A guild, fighting for the purpose of righting wrongs in the world, he truly owed them his life. When Isa was brought home afterwards, he politely told his parents that he was not staying anymore, and promptly left. Catching up to the Nobel Arcane, he requested to join the guild, and to his joy, was accepted immediately. Working hard, and proving himself, Isa was eventually rewarded with the title of right hand man. Getting to stand along side Giselle as fellow right hand man.

Months before the story starts, Isa finds a young man who looked worn and lost in the woods just outside of the town Yoria. Isa asks the guild to put the man under their care, personally willing to be the one to help take care of him. This was the first meeting between Isa and the young man, Arlen.

NOTABLE MOMENTS IN TIMELINE 1 & 2

Isa, along with the Nobel Arcane are able to make their way to the mysterious snowy city of Sanctus Halisa, following the kidnapping of Arlen, along with others from their village of Yoria. Both times ending in disaster, Isa watching Arlen and the others brutally sacrificed. Isa, Nikko and Cas, are the only three able to make it back to Yoria. Informing Sai and Kazuki, hoping to turn back the hands of time, and try to save them all.

Arlen Zalani [ friend turned lover ]

Due to Isa's good hearted nature, he couldn't leave the lost looking Arlen alone in the woods of Yoria, and took him in under the care of his guild. It's because of this that Arlen grows attached to Isa, rather quickly, much to his surprise. Despite the two of them growing close, Isa can't get much out of Arlen when it comes to talks of his past. Regardless of what kind of past he might have had, it doesn't bother Isa in the slightest, understanding what it's like to want to have a fresh start. Arlen is quite vocal and obvious about how he feels for Isa, which embarrasses him quite a bit, but he doesn't quite mind it ether. If you see Isa in a room, Arlen is more than likely not far behind.

Giselle Ryman [ coworker, friend ]

Fellow right hand man in their guild, Giselle and Isa are quite the duo. It's easy to see why Evan would appoint them both with the title, they work together very well. Isa greatly trusts and respects Giselle, always ready to listen to any plans or ideas she might have. Both of them have a tendency to take care of problems behind the scenes, making the guild look and run all the smoother. Despite the more serious nature the two of them share, it's actually not surprising to catch the two of them gossiping with each other during down time. Don't call them out on it though, unless you want two icy glares directed at you.

Evan Artorius [ boss, friend ]

Isa greatly respects and looks up to Evan, finding his qualities and ideals to be a perfect fit for a leader. He always refers to him as 'Boss', showing just how far his respect goes. Sure, sometimes Evan's loud mouth and lack of shame can embarrass Isa, but he accepts that it's just the kind of person Evan is. He enjoys the responsibility and trust Evan puts in to him, and it would break his heart to ever let him down. 

Devian "Devi" Novlyn [ brother ]

Younger brother to Isa. Imagine his surprise, having left his family over three years ago, for his younger brother to suddenly be in the same town as him. With out the rest of his family to top it all off. What a copy cat! Isa has bitter history with his family, and finds himself annoyed that his brother is out here now, feeling like he's doing all this just to get under his skin. Anytime the two run into each other, it's met with harsh words and hissing. Isa doesn't hate his brother, but he feels complicated all the same.
