Background

Born on a very distant planet, Leimomi grew up by the ocean. As a child, she always adored playing in the water and learned to swim before she even knew how to walk. She always had a fascination for sea life and spent a lot of her time exploring tide pools and learning as much as she could. She also had an affinity for being able to mix and create different concoctions, usually on accident. It started out as just being drinks that could keep people awake for longer periods of time or could help muscle aches go away. It soon turned to potions that could help heal sicknesses and even heal broken bones in half the time. She grew up in a large family, the second youngest of 5 girls and always got along with her siblings and family for the most part. They all lived in a very close knit tribe of Stellarnauts and everyone did their part. While she was supposed to become a healer because of her ability to make potions, she forced her way onto boats to become a hunter. She soon became a very valuable hunter once it was learned that she could breathe under water, which was a rare gift among them. She spent a lot of her free time training a select few people how to create potions that could be used for healing. One day, she met Orchid who was wondering through her village, talking to everyone he could. He was an absolutely fascinating person and she invited him to stay the night in her home. That night they talked and she learned about all the worlds he had been to and how he was recruiting crew members to join him. She decided very quickly that she would join him and spent the rest of that night and far into the morning figuring out a potion that could temporarily help someone breathe under water. Packing her things, she said goodbye to her family and within the day she was on the ship. She's been with Orchid ever since and will make potions from time to time for him and the rest of the crew. She explorers the new lands with Orchid when there is a known ocean or body of water nearby, otherwise she primarily stays on the ship.

Personality

Leimomi is a bundle of sunshine. She's bubbly and happy and a little too bouncy sometimes. Despite that, she's incredibly smart and can figure out a puzzle a lot faster than most people. What she has in smarts, she does lack in the ability to be quiet and control her own body at times. It can cause her to be extra jumpy or a little too loud. She doesn't like to kill, but if she has to she will. She's very spontaneous at times and will rush into things head first before talking about them. This can get her into trouble very quickly. She's kind of clumsy and tends to knock things over a lot but has very fast reflexes and usually catches the breakable things.
