Xeikthyr

Xeikthyr is a fan character from Sky: Children of the Light. A playful but compassionate Kid with a big love for nature.

Xeikthyr is a sky kid full of wonders. Always venturing lands and realms to discover many things and put them in their personal journal. They fear nothing, danger is their friend. Indeed, Pretty impulsive and takes challenges on a whim. Along their journey, Xeikthyr makes maps of the places they have visitied. Since they lose their memories every now and then, they try their best to put as many things as they can in their journal. Aside from that, they enjoy playing their handpan and piano. As well as being a local cryptid that fools around.

Though sociable and playful, they have a hard time trying to read the mood as well as empathising with others. Even so, they are a very compassionate sky kid to the point of selflessness, that is to the point of sacrificing themself. They don’t really see the point of death if they were to live again so Xeikthyr doesn’t see it as a big deal.

There are two things that are unique to Xeikthyr: their short-term memory and their dreams. To them, memories are like falling flower petals. It may be a bother and hurtful to those they forget but they don’t bother searching for a cure. Xeik says it's because they're afraid there will be no cure for them and it will all come to waste. But in truth, they are afraid of losing what they deem to be one of their interesting quirks. If it's gone, they think they will become a boring person and is unable to experience the feeling of first-experience. But deep down, they would love to always remember friends and feel how it is to develop a long lasting bond with friends. Though unbeknownst to them, Xeikthyr is gradually starting to preserve some memories.

Their dreams are a mix of their lost memories, Others memories/past, symbolic, utter nonsense (perhaps) and even prophecy of the future. Whenever they wake up they will immediately write it down and take the time to think about it. They often discuss it with their friend or sister. Most of their prophecies of the future are half accurate, but still accurate. While their dreams of others past are eerily precise. However there are times where they are unable to dream. Those only occurs when they are extremely distressed.h

There wasn't anything particular Xeikthyr remembered about their past, except for the fact they were always with their sister. Though slowly, they are recollecting them.
