 Aren's subtle appreciation for many things stems off his on-going love for photography. Although that may not appear to be the case with him, he is a regular to finding bits of likeable inner or outer qualities within an object, environment, or person that he feels is worth searching through. One thing he is sure to feel is the need to better himself and his passions. When it comes to bettering himself as far as character goes, he is indifferent about it most of the time, but he would rather not think about it. This causes him to bark at anyone who says or does something to make him question his being, which then leads him to think negatively of himself. In general, his temper is quick to snap, and dealing with the aftermath of his spouting hits him hard. He often deteriorates from guilt. Exploration is one of the few things he really finds himself set on, determining much of anything else can either take a lot of overthinking, or have him stuck in limbo. He's one to push those unfinished thoughts or ideas to the back of his mind, as switching subjects prove to be not so difficult for him.
Although he is perfectly fine dealing with himself and only himself, he can become dependent when offered the chance to be. He is exceptionally clingly when it comes to his older brother, and is rather demanding towards him and anyone else that allows him to feel justified in being that way. Generally, he is fond of being verbally dominant through bossing others around, even if they don't really comply. Really, it's all for a feeling of pride.
When he's not in a constant defense mode, you might actually see hints of his devotion and support towards what he likes to do, or even the people he chooses to be around.
He can become quite rude and/or aggressive if he feels he needs to defend his likes and hobbies. He's easy to frustrate with a simple tease.

Bio:
Aren was born into a studious family. His father being a respected lawyer at the time of Aren's birth. His mother being in the same area of work, an actual Judge. Aren had been their second and last son, the older sibling being eight years apart from him.

Growing up was easy and quite fun up until the age of twelve at which Aren's parent's started to push their ideal careers (mostly including government positions) onto him. They pressured him into studying the "art" of the laws and even got him a Summer job (in which they signed for) to file documents in cabinets for an actual lawyer, but those things had never really clicked with Aren. Unlike Aren's brother who eventually embraced the family's ideal future for him at a young age, Aren himself expressed his disliking towards his studies and found himself with a growing passion for photography and traveling (having went on business trips with his father) at the age of fifteen, to which his parents didn't agree with.

Because he didn't like to be forced into something he didn't want to do, he started to involve himself with the wrong type of people during his school years. They caused small amounts of trouble but anything too serious. It went on for quite a long time, but after his grades started dropping, his older brother took charge and pushed Aren to tell him why he was being such a brat. To his surprise, Aren spilled to his older brother, and they later came to agree that they would speak with their parents about the issue.

Aren's parents were not pleased with his future goals as a traveling photographer, but Aren's older brother, Adrian, had convinced them parents to let Aren dabble in the things he liked as a sort of trial-run. Adrian was the only person in the family Aren felt he could talk to in confidence, and Adrian definitely understood his younger brother's struggle.

After agreeing to let Aren try out his so-called hobbies and dreams, the whole family decided on taking a trip across the country. Aren was given an old Polaroid camera to take pictures along the way. Although Aren's parents hoped their son's ideas for the future would just blow over, they became more appreciative of Aren's hobby after witnessing the lengths he went to take the most interesting photos they had then seen at the end of the trip.

Although his parent's allowed him to have his creativity, his father still requested he work his Summer job filling for that lawyer he had always visited in hopes that Aren could one day change his mind as far as careers go. Aren's mom, on the other hand, supported his decisions and later bought him his own digital camera for his sixteenth birthday.

His mother had soon after grown ill and decided to break from her work as a judge. It gave her more time to spend with her children, getting to know more of their hopes and goals. She also decided to help Aren reach his future destination, as all she wanted for him was to be successful in what he wanted to do, giving him much support. Aren's father had the position of a judge since the time Aren was nine years old, and preferred to turn more of his focus into his work.

Now, he finds himself venturing into places he's never heard of, almost hoping to get lost in the brightly lit cities during starry nights. Those areas make great portfolio-worthy shots. He earns his pay by offering candid photo shoots in events such as birthdays, parties, and get togethers.

+His appearance had been heavily influenced by the delinquents at his schools, and some of that aesthetic stays with him.
+At the present moment, he actually finds his style to be quite artistic.
+Pick on his passion or the quality of his camera and he might offer a free photo of your head in a garbage bin.
+His pay is cheap, but he gets excited for about any form of work he is offered.
