Basics
Sai comes off a very cold and distant looking man, but that couldn't be further from the truth. His face doesn't quite get across how he truly feels, which tends to turn many people away from him. He's a very gentle person, with a heart that feels deeply. Once you really get to know him, it's easy to catch the small smiles, and the small twinkle in his eyes when he's amused.
He grew up in a more strict and serious environment, something that at one point in time he was ok going along with. But ever since he met Kazuki, it's something he would never even dream of going back to. He's the one with a more serious nature of the two, one could almost even say Sai is a bit more shy. He has a caring heart, and can't ignore someone when they truly need help.
Sai is over all an average built man. His most noticeable feature is his long and beautiful hair, he takes very good care of it. He is right handed.

PERSONAL SKILL
Sai grew up in a very privileged life, never having to learn any type of combat. He is incredibly well learned though, having done studies on various subjects for years. His knowledge only grew more, the years him and Kazuki traveled together. That being said if anyone were to try and fight him, that person would win with no troubles, Sai is a sitting duck.

About
Sai was originally born as Sai Ichikawa, youngest son of the Ichikawa family. They were a noble family in the country of Yolima, highly regarded by many people. He had an older sister Maki Ichikawa. When Maki turned 18, she was sent to live in a far off kingdom, but Sai never learned much past that. It was then Sai's duty to carry on the family name, having his whole life planned out for him by his parents.
He was 16 when he met Kazuki Shotoku, a young boy who was clearly a wanderer. Sai was immediately captivated by how well traveled and learned Kazuki was. Kazuki came by often, making small talk with Sai, which was something he started to look forward to everyday. The two grew close, Sai never having been able to connect to another person like this before. A year passed, when Kazuki then asked for Sai to run away with him. And to both their surprise, he agreed. They spent many years together traveling the world, and just enjoying each others company. Eventually Kazuki ties up any loose ends, and the two of them get married.
When Sai was 20, they decided they wanted to finally settle down. So they choose the town of Yoria to call their home. During their time in the town they come across a young Daigo and Souji, adopting the two young boys. When they completed building their home in Yoria, they opened up their home as also a part time classroom, hoping to pay back all the kind people in town who helped them build their home. The two of them becoming teachers, and enjoying the more peaceful and quite life they now live, together.
NOTABLE MOMENTS IN TIMELINE 1 & 2
Sai and Kazuki are essentially in the dark up to the very end, watching the world burn to a crisp. Nikko, Cas, and Isa appear to them, and make it known they need to reset so many years back to try to save the world.
NOTABLE MOMENTS IN TIMELINE 3
Sai and Kazuki are very aware of the tragic events unfolding, and now are armed with memos and notes in their own writing as well as that of Nikko, Cas and Isa's. They refuse to turn back the hands of time until they can confirm what needs to be done to save humanity.
Relationships
Kazuki Shotoku
[ husband ]
The person whom Sai loves more than the world it's self. He'd repeat time over and over again, and would always choose Kazuki again with out second thought. Kazuki is truly what makes life worth living in his eyes. If you want to see one of those rare Sai smiles, just watch him when he's with Kazuki, the smiles just don't stop. He can't help but be soft for Kazuki, even when Kazuki does things like accidentally destroy a part of his garden. He enjoys spending simple days with him, reading books and eating meals together. There's a certain type of happiness knowing Kazuki will always be the last thing he sees when he sleeps, and the first thing he sees when he wakes.
Daigo [ adopted son ]
Sai has always enjoyed the company of children, so it wasn't a hard decision to take Daigo and Souji into their lives. Daigo isn't the brightest, but Sai finds it to be charming what a scatterbrain he can be at times. Watching Souji slowly trying to leave the nest, Sai can't help but worry over Daigo. He doesn't want Daigo to live for them forever, and to eventually find his own happiness and path in life. He cares deeply for the boy, and feels he deserves only the best life has to offer.
Souji [ adopted son ]
Sai has always enjoyed the company of children, so it wasn't a hard decision to take Daigo and Souji into their lives. While Daigo isn't the brightest, Souji seems to take it a step further. Despite this, he always tries his best, which warms Sai's heart. He finds Souji's crush on Mugi, the girl who runs the Omura Inn, to be incredibly sweet. He supports Souji perusing his feelings for the girl. He cares deeply for the boy, and feels he deserves only the best life has to offer.
Maki Ichikawa [ sister ]
His older sister, the last time Sai saw her, he was 14 years old. So imagine his surprise when Maki ends up tracking him down, after having ran away from their family home all those years ago. Maki is just as smart as Sai, but with a bit more street life in her. He gets along well with his sister, and is happy to reconnect after all these years. Reuniting with his sister like this, Sai can't help but think that things like destiny might be just a bit true.
Ruka [ nephew ]
While he was surprised to run into his sister again. He was even more surprised to learn that she had children. Children that have been right under his nose the entire time. He taught Ruka when he was younger, it was a bit difficult though seeing how the boy didn't have much interest in an education. He can see shades of Maki in Ruka, and feels that this was something he should have noticed before.
William Lindberg [ nephew ]
Not just one, but two children! Right under his nose! How is the world so small? William actually happens to still go to school as well. He won't disrespect his sisters wishes, so he won't tell William that his family is all around him actually. Sai knows that Maki wants to be reunited properly with her children though, so he'll help lay small hints for William to pick up as well.
