Newt

Don't let his spooky skull marking fool you, because Newt honestly wouldn't hurt a fly. He's smaller in stature than other cloverdiles, and might be a tasty treat to a larger predator if not for his markings and patterns which mimic those of some other poisonous creature of Shantyland. Because of this, he is generally left alone to sit and sleep along the edges of his swamp. Newt is a pretty lazy guy, which is evidenced by the patches of moss and greenery that have begun growing atop his backside. He enjoys soaking up the warm sun and only moves for a meal. His companion, Clover the Newt, is almost the complete oppostite: a feisty, fast, and voracious creature who cannot get enough bugs, and insects in her mouth!
