Daf

Daf (short for Dafydd) is the son of the local mechanic, and works part time in his shop, fixing up cars and motorcycles. He's only just finished high school and isn't necessarily sure what he wants to do next, but one thing is for certain, he doesn't take after his father at all. Where his dad spent his youth as a biker, getting in trouble with the law, Daf's deathly afraid of the idea of even riding a motorcycle. He was gifted one on his 17th birthday and you'd never see him actually moving on it. This isn't to say he doesn't enjoy his work, he still finds a lot of interest in the technical side of cars, and can and will ramble to you about how engines work if he doesn't catch himself.
Instead his prized possession is an Amiga computer that he has hidden away (though set up) in his closet. He has some interest in programming but moreso roleplaying on MUDs, especially of the sci-fi variety. He feels a lot of pressure to keep up appearances, and he fears judgement for the person he genuinely is. He seems to be the person worrying the most, mind you, as his parents have never been the kind to force him one way or another.
Daf is a bit of an isolated person, but he's found friendship through folks that his sister, Gwen, has befriended with her more outgoing personality. He's now pretty close to both Cadi and Wyn, though he finds Eloise terrifying.
