Ghost
Saar lived in the Palace of Raidenshima for all his formative years. As the eldest son of the Elenumen of Lightning, Raijen, Saar was expected both to rule and to take on his fathers titles and duties as a god. As such, he was too busy learning about royal duties and the like to ever see the public. But... he never wanted to rule. Saar always wanted to become a doctor and save lives as his mother did.
When Raijen was killed in a freak accident and his mother ender her own life, Saar suddenly up and vanished from the Palace. Nobody knew where he went. He didn't even know at first, he just ran away and never looked back. A demon decided to take up residence in his anxiety-filled head during this time, which he didn't even know about. Other then that, he was able to live a whole new life as Saar. He got his education, and became not only a doctor, but a scientist and researcher.
While out on feildwork, he met a creature he had never seen before called a Primsyn- ancestors of the Novak and Aercid once thought to be extinct. That Primsyn happened to be named Morphie, and also turned out to be the love of his life. But for now, he stayed pining after them.
Over time, Saar and that demon became less and less two distinct entities and more and more just one. When put under heavy stress, Saar would unwillingly change into the form of that of a demon, but still be in control of his own body- something that he would find useful in certain situations, such as getting people to stay out of his office when they just burst in unannounced.

- His elemental magic is on par with Morphie.
As smart as he is, Saar tends to take on way too much work then any single person can handle. Making life-saving discoveries? Can do. Figuring out long-lost secrets? Easy. Decoding lost text? Why not!
He does get a lot done, but at the expense of his own wellbeing. He can come across as distant and uncaring, but in reality he cares a bit too much.

Saar has known Morphie for longer then he's been chronically tired. Most of that time was spent slowly unpacking the fact he loved someone romantically and pining after them. Despite being total opposite personalities, they make quite the team.

Growing up, Nimbus was the only one Saar was really close to. He admired her for managing to juggle two kids, being the queen, having a job, and keeping up her public image all at once. Although she was often away from the palace, she still did everthing the could for him.
He still wears her lab coat in her memory.

When Saar was young, hanging out with Kallik was one of the few breaks he got from learning about his ever-impending royal duties and endless magic trainings. It was when he could just be a kid, and not be yelled at for "being immature."
Saar has heard bits and peices about him in passing. How he took the throne, became a god, but didn't inherit his father's title as the Bringer of Justice. He instead became known as King Kallik, Elenumen of Lightning, Bringer of Justice. Saar hopes he's doing okay, despite everything.

There is nothing Saar resents more then his father. Egotistical, apathetic, narcassistic... the list goes on. Saar had no pity for him when he died, and has no pity for him now.
