Frances is actually from Harlonde, and originally wasn't a cyborg. They were previously an inter-galaxy messenger dragon. After a rough journey through space they landed on earth, their head and tail received extreme damage upon entering Earth's atmosphere, and was only saved thanks to an engineer who reconstructed these parts with cybernetics. Due to severe head trauma, they suffered extensive memory loss. Frances then began trying to find any information about their past. With no luck for a few decades, they were used by a private international organisation to conduct deep space research. They were the ideal research vessel as they were immune to the freezing temperatures of space and did not require oxygen, and to the bewilderment of researchers they possessed the ability to travel at the speed of light. They would often spend years at a time travelling to distant reaches of the solar system. They recorded information for various experiments and investigations, but could not bring back samples due to the nature of travelling at the speed of light

After quite some time on Earth, another extra-terrestrial being entered the atmosphere, and had difficulty adjusting to the earth's gravity which caused it to crash into the ocean. The same organisation that had found Frances intercepted this organism at sea, holding it on a naval ship for questioning. Eventually, it was given the name of UFO and the two were introduced. After being introduced to UFO they asked if it could help them somehow. Even though UFOs systems were offline, it still had access to its internal database. After conducting a full body diagnostics scan, it revealed that Frances was from the extremely distant planet of Harlonde. UFO explained that Harlonde was a relatively new planet created by Charon himself, remarking on its supposed importance. Frances, having no memories, inquired further. UFO explained to them the celestial council and the beings that created the universe, which caused Frances to remember suddenly their patron god.
