Background
Awkward in social situations and bad at reacting on the fly. Cypress enjoys leisure time in their own company, but is always on the hunt for outside inspiration for his textile designs.
He buys a cheap but large home on the outer edges of town and starts his new life. First meets Sanguine at the market while looking for inspiration. Despite getting flustered by his flirtations, Cypress didn't seem to hate it. He invites Sanguine into his home after tossing a bucket of dirty water out the window onto him as he was passing below, advancing their relationship. Both find themselves more attracted to each other than expected and begin seeing each other.
While having Sanguine over during a rain storm, Cypress finds out his true identity. While shocked and fearful, his attraction to the person overrides it, and he accepts Sanguine. Their relationship grows deeper and Cypress enjoys learning more about his lover.

- His home was so cheap because it is listed as an unsafe property from being so far from town (he had no idea).
- Normally pretty reserved and withdrawn, but when inspired by something, he throws himself into it and gets carried away.
- Has pretty decent magic ability, but only for plants and wind.
