ABOUT
"What do you want to run from? That thing called “reality”?"
A bitter man with a history wrapped in tragedy. His mothers both were murdered by unknown men when he was just 10 years old, being bounced around many relatives with his twin sister, Jessie, for years. The one stable force in his life, Dawn, who was his best friend and partner, also recently murdered causing the already angry Dax to lash out further.
While he isn't violent he does have a rather sharp tongue and seeks solitude more often than not. The only thing bringing him joy seemingly being his artistic endeavours which he doesn't seem to have much time for while working for his current job, which he hates and will not hesitate to tell you. He hides behind humor, most of which is self destructive and his speech is often littered with swears.
PERSONALITY
Dax is a person who believes in only the worst he is a true pessimist, his past sapping out any ability for him to have hope in the future and that magical "everything will turn out fine" as to him it never does. He is wary of any and all good fortune as he believe it is quickly followed by suffering, joy needing to be snubbed out by whatever bastard force is out there, he seems to have a deep loathing for talk of fate and destiny, and while he doesn't outwardly hate these things, he never wishes to talk on them long if anyone does bring it up to him.
Dax mainly keeps to himself, he finds social interaction, especially given the personalities of some of his peers highly tiresome. He offsets any interest in him by being rather rude and snippy, if one can handle his sharp tongue and is persistent enough however he seems to give up pushing them away, those few being ones to find out he has a rather dry sense of humor and is surprisingly emotional and caring. Half of his attitude driven by such feelings.
An artist at heart, he finds joy in creating, especially carvings and paintings, noting that the feeling is rather relaxing when the wood he uses isn't too hard. Despite his outward looks he enjoys making things for others, he just hasn't found anyone he trusts enough yet...

BIOGRAPHY
BACKSTORY
Dax was born to Ha-Yun and Adara Young alongside his sister Jessie. His childhood was nothing special, he was loved by his family and childhood friend, Dawn. The Dax of this time was a timid and quiet child, overly emotional and easily brought to tears. He was a sweet kid who was very affected by death. From movies to people he didn't even know it upset him greatly...
So when it occured in his life he took it miserably to say the least. It started with his mothers when he was ten years old. A group of men broke into their house and while Jessie and Dax escaped due after Adara provided them some time, it changed the twins completely. At first Dax was broken over the loss of his parents, but the lack of support he recieved from those around him made him angrier and angrier, resulting in him pushing away Jessie who wanted to move forward.
However he didn't completely change just yet, he still had Dawn who managed to help him get to a better place mentally and mended the relationship between the siblings, although it was not the same as it was before they lost their mothers. Dax and Dawn moved in together as soon as they were able to, Jessie living with them as well. Just like clockwork though, soon life struck again and it was Dawn who was the victim. Dax wasn't able to cope with this happening not once, but twice in his life to the people who mattered most to him and since then he's been a completely different man.
CURRENT TIMES
Nowadays Dax lives in the same apartment with his sister, but the two don't seem to talk at all, Dax outright avoiding Jessie for the most part. He works a rather miserable job as a cashier at a local fast food joint which drains what little soul he has left by the daily. He is currently pursuing a medical degree at Astrophel, seemingly endorsed by Dr. Pandora.
The only people he seems to hang around recently are Lamia, Marianette and a third person no one else has seen, but has been mentioned frequently. Rumors have spread that he's affiliated with the vigilante group "Argo", but nothing can be proven at this time.
RELATIONS
Dax thinks Lamia is weird, but in a way that's why they get along despite their massive differences. Dax has to admit he was a bit confused why she would agree with what he had planned, but after getting to know her more... Well...
Despite how odd it seems for the meek, skittish Marianette to ever interact with Dax, the two have been spotted more than once together talking about something. Both seem to change the topic when the other is mentioned however.
Not many people know she exists, but Dax is one of the few who does. Dax finds himself closer with Renae over than with Lamia due to their shared feelings about their sisters and how they cope with their emotions. The two often enjoy sitting together without talking.
Dax has a highly strained relationship with his sister, their different ways of handling grief being the main cause. Closer before the deaths of their mother and mutual friend, Dawn. The two have rarely spoken over the years, despite living in the same appartment.

TRIVIA
- Dax recently quit smoking, often uses suckers/lolipops in their stead.
- When not at his job, school, doing art and the rare bout of socializing, Dax spends his time playing horror games.
- Nuwon is suppose to be pronounced like "New-on" similar to "No one".
- When he can he avoids crowded places.
- He is unhealthily skinny, doesn't seem to care much for himself.
- His most common outfit: a gray beanie, a dark gray hoodie, black t-shirt with a pink eye and flames as a design, black ripped jeans and black platform boots with red laces.
- Dax's locket to summon his Canochi, Amy, is a red heart.
