Arden wants to help create a better world. This can lead to being unsure whether or not the orders given will result in a positive ending.
It's unlikely that Arden would attack another person, except if it is self-defense or in the defense of others. Even then, Arden would focus on incapacitation rather than killing.

The ongoing conflict between Xydia and Yovern made Arden's past tumultuous. Although happy moments spend with the youth's parents, such as when they presented Heart, were fresh on the mind, their deaths have, however, were an emotional trauma for the young kid, and as a result, have become muddled in Arden's memories. As such, no clear memories exist of how they died, when they died or even if they died. All Arden could rely on were official documents stating their passing.

A decade had passed since, however, and after years of being transferred from one place to another, like from social service to orphanage or more directly from hometown to Ferrum City, the youth managed to end up in a small apartment. Although Arden technically lived alone, Heart was always there to provide both friendship and care, meaning the youth finally had a stable environment to live in. It took no time at all for Arden to settle in to the new lifestyle of no longer having to rely on other people for your every want or need, and once organized went looking for a job.

By working for an electronics store, often fixing things both hardware and software wise for customers not quite careful enough, Arden made a living. The pair seemed to live in relative peace in their little apartment, but the fact that people perished daily from the ongoing conflict remained a constant reminder of having lost both parents. Dreaming of a better world, Arden had yet to give up hope and still had the will to help others, to keep them alive. The youth struggled with ideas and thoughts of what to do about it, what contribution could be made... Until the idea of joining the military came up.

Arden would feel uncomfortable having to attack other people, though. The intention was to help, not to harm, after all... As such, Arden figured the Medical division of the Xydian military would be the most likely branch to join. Sure, the Engineering division might be the most obvious choice for the technically inclined Arden, but thoughts of maybe having to build weapons haunted the decision making.. Directly helping seemed more logical, so Arden followed several First Aid courses, studied up on biology, effectively teaching the skills the youth assumed were required to apply.

Perhaps joining the military was not the smartest decision, but Arden hoped that being around to help out with First Aid skills could result in less victims. And perhaps, who knows, the youth could have a hand in stopping the conflict altogether.. For now, Arden's path had led to volunteering to fuse with Heart, believing strongly in the bond they share could result in an ANON that could be a great field medic. The Chansey happily aagreed, thinking it might be best for the youth to have a more direct goal in life, and becoming an ANON should help with that. Whether Arden and Heart were correct in their assumptions, only time could tell..
