"What's happenin, cool cat?"
Abigail is a jive-lovin' anemone, who despite her chill vibe, is a realist through and through. She has a calm head on her shoulders and is always willing to help someone out.. so long as it doesn't put her in harms way. She has no problem saying no, and she somehow always finds a way to slink out of trouble.
This girl is chill, very chill. So long as it's not taking skin off her back, Abigail is down with going with the flow. Her father is a huge Jazz Man, and the passion passed down to his daughter. This anemone likes to use jive slang and Jazz is her favorite genre. She's very into poetry too, testing her own pen in the art. She also aspires to play the bass decently one day.. though she'd need to find a place to keep such a large instrument!
Mezzie, like any clownfish and their home, is very protective of Abigail. Anything she feels is off or wrong, her first instinct is to bite and yell. Otherwise, she's a really shy and nervous little fish!
During the day she either hangs out with Luanne or rolls around the plaza and see what's new in the shops. Mostly for accessories. And if not, she’s hanging out at one of the eateries. Cafes, diners, pubs.. anywhere she and Mezzie could snack while she works on her online assignments. Thursday nights (or a random night idk, i just picked Thursday) she's at a poetry corner (either in the pub or a library) She works with her dad at a pub. Every now and then she picks up the bass (the huge one. orchestra), it's often left at the pub for these poetry nights. But her hand usually goes to writing poetry and sometimes designing outfits.
Her clownfish companion, Mezzie, is the polar opposite of her anemone. Mezzie is a pink clownfish that is very high strung and skittish. She always warns her larger friend of possible dangers, though they may be a bit extreme. Still, Abigail is appreciative to have her around.
Appearance
An average sized, dark toned anemone, sporting minty green tentacles with her favorite beret. She has more hip than chest, but she also prefers to wear comfortable clothing anyways.
Born and raised in the quite colony of Cephalo City, Abigail grew to appreciate the definition of community. She was never big on the ink war games, but she happily cheered those on who did. To keep herself busy, she took up in writing, specifically in poetry. If she had nothing else to do, she would people watch, and write poetry based on what she's seen. She's become a decent empath thanks to this.
Abigail lost her mother when she was younger to a terminal illness. So it has always been she and her father ever since. This would be where she had grown closer to her father, and picked up on the wonderous world of Jazz and Jive. After picking up on it so much, it has become part of her basic speech, though she can quit at any time... maybe.
Mezzie: Companion
Abigail can't imagine life without her, literally. Aside from keeping her tentacle untangled and clean, Mezzie always points out some form of caution that Abigail may have missed. She's been getting better at catching on though. And Mezzie has been getting better at loosening up.
Kestrel: Penpal
They've always kept in touch with the world of social media. And after some chit chat, they grew to be a sort of business duo. Abigail makes the buzz. Kestrel makes the tops.
Luanne: Friend
One of Abigail's closer friends. She's always appreciated her free spirit and spontaneous attitude, to the point she had even developed a cush on the girl. She could never admit it to her until later on, however, as she knew Lu didn't feel the same. And after several other events, Abigail saw in hindsight they may have not been the best fit together after all, but she's still be there for her.
