Terrin's Literatures
Commander Terrin's biggest fears are the following: Open water, drowning, and cramped spaces with no way out.
It's too bad she not only can't swim, but also wears all that heavy armor...
A nice night, a quiet morning, light filtering in through the window to wake the Commander. When she opened her eyes, Torian wasn’t there but she could hear him rummaging about in the bathroom as he prepared for the day.
“Torian?” Her feet carried her to him as if they had a mind of their own, arms flinging around his neck to pull him into the tightest hug she could muster. It lasted but a moment before they were both scrabbling to pull that old helmet off of him. (novelization of Terrin's reunion with her husband in KOTFE ch. 14: Mandalore's Revenge)
The shot hit her before she’d even realized the target had his blaster drawn. Terrin was sent to one knee as the shot burned through her thigh—through thick leggings, through flesh, to leave it blackened and the smell of burned skin heavy in the air.
She didn’t have a problem being charged with things she’d actually kriffin’ done. But this? Oh, she’d have someone’s head for this.
She’d been playing on the dock while Kaal had been speaking with someone selling a speeder. Next thing he knew, he’d heard the splash and she wasn’t at his side.
Terrin scowled at her captors, snarled, even tried to sink her teeth into one of their hands when it found her chin to force her to look up.
Two shots. That was all he’d needed, and the pair fell silent against their expensive carpet.
