Personality Information:

Personality: Scott is the type of person where to get to know him you have to get through a lot of his defenses. He doesn't like getting close to people or sharing details about himself. He is secretive but not in a way to suggest he is up to something. More he seems like the type that just doesn't want to talk about things. When dealing with people, Scott doesn't exactly pull his punches or let people down easy. He's blunt, he's too the point, and he can be stubborn in what he says and thinks but it comes from a very pragmatic position where he thinks being direct about an issue is the best way to either move forward or figure something out right then and there and not wait until it becomes an issue down the line.

Positive Personality Traits:

• Truthful
• Hardworking
• Tough
• Pragmatic

Negative Personality Traits:

• Stubborn

• Shy

• Scott goes through multiple cans of soda and energy drink while watching and waiting for his uploads to the site he works for to render

• Flying
• Heights
• Hospitals

• Video games, in particular, retro/retro-style 8 and 16-bit games as well as city planner/building games
• Snow
• Pigs
• Cheesy 80s action movies

Dislikes:

• Bad movies that were made from the outset to be bad
• Dogs
• Extremely sweet foods
• Analog clocks
• Most people he sees and deals with on the internet

Pet Peeves:

• People who comment on his reviews to mention something that he brought up in the review
• Dealing with the cable company over internet issues

Mental Health Issues:
None

Speech Patterns:
Scott is a very slow speaker, often getting only a few words in before there being an audible pause, before he continues. As a result Scott is often very curt. Getting what he needs said out as quickly as possible to offset how slowly he speaks. While Scott doesn't have much of an accent he can occasional slip into a bit of a Canadian accent when speaking with relatives for a long enough period of time. (e.g. saying "aboot" rather than about.). However even these slips are generally ignored by him and others because of his ignoring.

Interview
Who are you?
"Name's Scott...Scott Puglia...Technically Raneri-Puglia, but, people f*ck up one last name...So why have two?"

Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
"I review movies for a living...I live on a farm...I have a pet pig...Not sure exactly what you want to know. Not exactly, y'know, super exciting."

What is your orientation?
"I'm gay."

How old are you?
"Twenty-two."

How tall are you?
"Why do you care?...Fine...Five-Five."

How many languages do you speak?
"I just speak English. I mean...I guess I know some Hebrew...Just the stuff I had to learn though."

Do you have any family?
"Bunch of siblings, a cousin, mom, dad, uncle, aunt, my bubbeh. Tuskers counts, I guess. Since he's a pet and my family as a result..."

What about friends?
"I'm a guy who works on the internet for a living...Who lives in the middle of nowhere...I don't have friends...Minus my personal trainer, I guess."

What do you do for a living or what do you want to do?
"Wanted to be a director. Wanted to go to film school and everything. That didn't work out. So now I just review them for a website."

Are you religious?
"Depends who you ask. I give you three people, and you'll come back with five different opinions about me, three of those probably from my mom. I guess, I'm more of a secular than anything. Secular and Jewish. Not just the former. I put way too much effort into my Bar Mitzvah alone to just ignore that part of me."

Are you seeing anyone?
"Look at me and tell me if I look like I'm seeing anyone."

Do you have any favorite foods?
"I'm gonna assume that's not a fat joke...And just a general question...I like cheesecake sometimes."

What do you do for fun?
"Movies, video games, I watch sports sometimes, used to box, guess I could always start boxing again but, eh, I code sometimes, fix things up that either I or someone else, y'know, made ages ago...cleaning sometimes, bit of gardening, tried knitting once, nah, typical stuff, I guess."

Do you anything you want to say to anyone who might read this?
"Nope, can I go? I have to go publish a video...And I gotta see if it is still having audio issues first."

Along with that, despite most of the art I draw or commission of Scott he often doesn't wear shirts that draw attention to him being gay although a large part of his wardrobe are of shirts for various media properties. Several of the shirts he owns have fading ink suggesting it has been awhile since he went clothes shopping.

Trivia

⭐ Scott tends to be blunt and, a bit harsh truth be told, in his reviews but rarely does he give out personal attacks in said reviews. He has no qualms in saying how the shot composition of a movie is terrible, the sound direction is abysmal, and putting enough light on plot holes that a person could watch his review and then wonder how a director or editor missed something so seemingly obvious but he almost never insults an actor, director, anyone who works on a film, seeing as they were just doing their job and one person doesn't bring down the whole proverbial ship, with rare exceptions (For example: Directors or cast members who as noted bigots or jerks. He won't mince words about them.)

⭐ Scott isn't in the closet but when it comes to his sexuality he isn't really open about it. Often times the only time he talks about it is if asked directly by someone for whom it isn't weird to ask. He won't admit to being gay to some random person in his mentions but if a friend in person asks him he will tell them. Mostly this comes as a direct result of him just not like talking about himself, not wanting fans to develop a parasocial relationship with him through his content, and the fact that when he does mention it online it tends to draw the worst of the worst people.

⭐ Scott occasionally dabbles in boxing, more for fun than exercise since he has a personal trainer to help him with the latter, and while he isn't the fastest punch out there he has fairly decent endurance and the strength to back it up as well as a southpaw that is, allegedly, enough to make people see stars if they take a good hit to the face from it.

⭐ Scott is fairly neutral on super hero media, while he can enjoy certain things like performances or direction, he also isn't a fan of other movie studios following in their lead in making movies with either deliberate elements that are to be filled in by future films or outside media or left hanging on via cliff hangers rather than making a good stand alone film that maybe gets a sequel, in his opinion. That said? He does have a lot of super hero merch, in part because brands or sponsorships send them assuming he would like the stuff or simply because it's cheap or something that fits. Though, if he had to pick, he does like getting Superman or Captain America merch if just because he thinks he looks good in that particular shade of blue.

⭐ Scott when it comes to coding, is self taught, teaching himself from a mixture of books, early online video tutorials, and long deleted forums. He made his first review website that, while it was mostly text reviews at the time, had a few video reviews as well, the latter of which helped him land his job with his current publication after one person who worked there showed one of his videos and his website to their boss. While most of the technical issues are now handled by the company's IT department that doesn't stop him from making a back-up of all his stuff and keeping his own personal website online just in case the site does go down for long stretches of time such as in the event of a rare DDOS attack from some game company's fans if they didn't like another reviewer's score.

⭐ Scott hates hospitals with a passion. Not due to any fear of doctors, or needles, or blood, but rather due to personal experience, even more so since they remind him of his late sibling Meinhardt. As such, he is the type who would rather stay at home and suffer for weeks with the flu or not bother to get a crick in his neck checked rather than go to one. Often reserving that particular trips for matters of life and death, he needs stitches, or because his cousin Alex forces him to go.

⭐ Scott originally wanted to go to film school and become a director. That was, in fact, part of the impetus for him moving to California since he would be a bit closer to the film scene that he could be in Canada outside of moving to Toronto. However, following the terminal illness that took his sibling? Scott, and his family as a whole, found their funds depleted to the point that such an option is no longer one.

⭐ Scott, somehow, almost always manages to get  a farmer's tan during summer that lasts the entire season. Even if he never goes outside, or on the occasions he does, he goes out shirtless? He will still have that distinct tanline and he has no idea why but he also doesn't really care aside from finding it annoying.

⭐ Scott has a pet pig named Tuskers. Although to say he owns Tuskers would be dubious as he is a wild pig. While not a proper boar? Tuskers has gone a bit feral, getting a thicker coat, the start of tusks, but was clearly a pig from a farm before hand. The two met when Tuskers randomly appeared on his farm when Scott was considering selling it and moving back to Canada. It didn't leave until it was fed, but came back the next day, and the next. Eventually it reached the point that Scott was letting the pig into his home and letting him have free reign, effectively adopting Tuskers, even if not legally actually doing so. Tusker's isn't aggressive and rather intelligent seemingly delighting in annoying visitors but otherwise content to eat or sleep in the doorway between Scott's kitchen and living room. He is fond of cabbage.

⭐ Scott doesn't consider himself all that religious. While he will observe holidays, it is usually only on the more major ones, or in particular, the more major ones when he gets invited to spend them with his family in particular his grandmother, that he will go all out, as a direct result while he can't remember a lot of Hebrew he at least remembers things like the parts he read for his Bar Mitzvah, a few songs he heard his family sing when he was younger, or the occasional Yiddish phrase that he might drop when frustrated.
