Profile

Nester is a rather old monster, none know where he came from, or how long ago he was "born", but he is assumed to be far older than both Lysander and Petrov combined.

Nester is a tall, lanky monster that takes the form of a drab-looking scarecrow. It's unknown how he was able to take on such a form, and how he is able to sustain it for such a long time. Unlike lysander, who has stayed in his disguised form all his life, Nester can freely switch between his forms.

Nester, while old, is not very intelligent. He is able to talk, but in a very simplistic way, speaking in the third person and using unconventional words to get his point across. His speech may be a result of either not interacting enough with humans, or his age altogether.
Nester is a friendly enough creature, and his immense curiosity has landed him into all sorts of trouble. His constant need to poke and prod at whatever he finds may lead him to unfortunate circumstances.

Nesters curious nature is the reason for his shackled neck and arm, and his loss of eye and leg.
At one point, he was the victim of an Ashspirian raiding party, in which knights of the kingdom are issued to enter the large forest where monsters reside, and cull as many as they can, placing traps and hunting them down in order to thin their numbers.  Death may have better suited Nester, for he was trapped in a large wooden box, along with many other smaller monsters, and brought back on horse carriage to the kingdoms large cathedral, in which multiple underground experiments conducted by priests commenced, in hopes of finding a true weakness to the monsters within the forest, and ending their existence for good.
This capture lead to the loss of Nesters right eye, all of his fingers and his left leg, all of which were removed by the priests and used for experiments, and all of which were not taken in a pleasant way. Nester's shackles cannot be removed, and trying to pull them off at all causes him a lot of pain, so he chooses to live with them, and they don't normally bother him if not poked at.
Nesters fingers at one point were replaced with large pieces of shrapnel, how he was able to find them and when they were attached is unknown.

Nester's body is rather tall, standing at around 7 feet, he constantly hunches in order to make his way through doors, this hunch is now a permanent part of his posture, and he rarely stands upright, unless to grab something from high up or stretch.

Nester's tongue is around 4 feet long, which he uses to grab small animals and prey, similar to a chameleon, and drag them back, where he eats them in their entirety whole. Larger animals, such as deer, are far more of a challenge for him, and can take him almost a full hour or more to ingest.

Nesters true form is that of a black, oily-like creature, with a single bright eye, and rows of drab, green human-like teeth. The oily substance is part of his anatomy, and its unknown what it is used for, if at all. He attains a very limited skeleton, and few organs, making his body malleable and very stretchy, which helps in his digestion of whole prey. It is often that his second form comes apart while eating, leaving his a large, black blob after he's done swallowing prey.
When under immense emotional pressure, Nesters disguised form starts to unravel at his "seams", causing his face to droop off his body, and his "stitches" to fall off his mouth and head.

Nester's large Zipper on his chest is used as an unusual way to turn back into his regular form, leaving his once-disguise to turn back to his normal self, similarly to a onesie.

Nester has near to no impulse-control, and no sense of personal space, he loves to act on his own whim, and stay way too close to other people, much to their discomfort.

While happy and friendly, Nester is prone to times of self-doubt, worrying that he may become a vicious monster again, and going out his way to continue to stay his aloof, loopy self.
