Powers
Mind Reading and Mind Control
About
Caleb's mind reading is very acute, he can expand the range of minds he can read in a circle around himself. He cannot, however, make any voices he hears quieter, which means that shout thinking seriously hurts his head. If someone directs their thoughts at him, he will "hear" it much louder than any other mind around him.
His mind control is a bit more fickle. It's entirely possible for someone to block his mind control entirely. Caleb finds it easier to control people when he is making eye contact with them while he gives them their command. The closer he gets the easier it is to control people as well.
Physical Effects
When Caleb uses his mind control, his irises and pupils glow yellow, however, when he is pushing himself to his absolute limit, the yellow glow will take over his entire sclera as well.
Personality
Anxious . Awkward . Kind-Hearted
Caleb is a huge nervous wreck who tends to jump to the (extremely) wrong conclusion. He can sometimes be irrational and may do stupid things just to satisfy his own needs. Despite this, he is still an honest and trustworthy person, and is always the one you want to go to when you're having a hard time. However, he has problems with lying, he will do anything to keep his secrets if he feels it will cause someone to hate him.

History
Caleb had a rough childhood. His older brother, Joseph, was always good at everything while Caleb tended to fall around the average. Because of this, Caleb's parents only cared about Joseph and basically ignored him. Caleb was always vying for their attention, while building up anxiety and a problem with needing to feel validated constantly. He fell into a depression when Joseph stole all of his friends as well. His childhood is the basic root of ALL of his anxiety. When he finally graduated, he scooted off to college as fast as he could. He doesn't go home unless the breaks are longer than a week and he never contacts his parents.
Role in Power Pills
One day, about a month after he started college, Caleb's roommate, Guy dragged him to a party against his will. There, a man approached him offering him a choice between 8 different colored pills. Caleb took the yellow pill and it gave him the ability to read and control minds. After an adjustment period, and stopping a bunch of robbers, Guy sent Caleb to a dojo to learn how to fight. Where Caleb met Kate, his instructor. She found out about his powers an immediately started making him a superhero costume. So, naturally, Caleb had no choice but to become a superhero. When he fought his first supervillain, a teenager named Avery, he announced his name to the world: Soul Seer. He later found out that Avery had a microchip implanted in his brain that was being used as a remote control. He freed Avery from the microchip and they became friends instantly.Â
About a moth later, word of a second superhero, Wax Guise began to circulate. Caleb and his friends made it their goal to find out more about Wax Guise, though they almost couldn't succeed. That is, until Lightbringer showed up in Caleb's dorm room with an address, begging Caleb to find him. Caleb and Avery went to go talk to Dan but Dan, thinking they were Future Tech lackeys, ran. The duo chased him down until they were able to corner him. After explaining what was going on, Dan and Caleb agreed to team up.
Just a month later, Dan brought Caleb to a performance of The Nutcracker after hearing rumors about one of the dancers being able to fly and teleport. About halfway through the performance, Caleb was able to identify the dancer to be Meredith Bodkin, who was playing Clara at the time. The two attempted to contact her afterward, but their introduction was interrupted by a posse of Future Tech grunts. Caleb took down the leader of the pack, though she was able to rip out a chunk of his hair in the process. He then introduced himself and Dan to Merri, who joined the team almost immediately.
It was only a few weeks later when Lightbringer and Dan showed up at his doorstep with a new superhero, Kristy, in tow. Caleb did his best to welcome her into the team.
