Basics
Monochromatic is, seemingly, a handsome, talented stallion living in Ponyville. He is confident and has a large ego, but has the skills to back that up. Overall, ponies around him tend to really like him and his knowing attitude. However, he is secretly a changeling! ... In retrospect, not too surprising since he doesn't really have an explanation for being an alicorn in Ponyville and having no backstory he will share. Aside from his insane confidence, he is actually rather awkward when confronted with things he hadn't considered before, and has an incredibly short and explosive temper. He's not afraid to attack others for upsetting him- it usually works well enough to shut them up!

About
Monochromatic was born a strange changeling. Changelings need love to develop colorful brood- as such, his father was presumed to be stealing love for himself and keeping it from the hive, and was promptly executed for it. Though no one has told this to him directly, he's heard enough quiet rumoring to know it's probably true. He hates love and wants to prove himself due to it. He was previously a captain of the Changeling Army, who was fired and sent off to live in Ponyville. He refuses to talk about why he was fired- but it probably has something to do with how piss poor he is at being a leader and his conflated ego to boot.
Subheader
Monochromatic, under the disguise of an alicorn, resides in Ponyville. His first act upon entering was seducing an old rich stallion and inheriting his bits after his death. With this money, he buys a little cottage in the middle of Ponyville, and waits. Originally he plans to overthrow Chrysalis, but when she is overthrown- and not by him!- he changes plans to overthrowing Thorax. He wants nothing more than to take back the respect he had while leading the army, and to live a life of luxury. More than anything, though, he wants love from everyone!

Blood Moon [ relationship ]
Blood Moon and Monochromatic Heart are both rich, grandeous, and gentlemanly stallions living in Ponyville of all places, so of course they have bumped into each other, especially with help of their mutual friend Jewel. Though Monochromatic finds Blood Moon a bit of a submission tool, they are good associates due to their similar vibes. Blood Moon, though, is quite confused as to why and how Monochromatic is an alicorn, and further confused as to why Monochromatic hedges around answering.
