Lu'dan

Lu'dan is a soft-spoken, big-hearted ice troll who defected from the Drakkari Empire prior to its collapse. Years later, he's still struggling to find his place outside of Northrend, and continues to be haunted by witnessing the death of his first Loa

The Beginning

Some thirty-odd years ago, a pair of Drakkari trolls gave birth to a slightly early but very healthy baby. The proud parents, a trapper and a raptor-handler, followers of Mam'toth and Tharon'ja respectively, named their child ■■■■■■. Only later would he become Lu'dan. Though they intended to raise their child to follow one of their own loa, perhaps as a priest, there was no bond with the child and either loa.

At five Lu'dan wandered away from home one evening. The loa Rhunok was present at a nearby pond when he found it, and witnessed the young troll wander out onto the ice. Halfway across, Lu'dan sat down, yawned, and then the ice broke beneath him. Rhunok rescued the child, dragging him from the freezing waters to safety. It was then, freezing and soaking wet, clutching onto the bear's back, that Lu'dan resolved to be someone more like this great loa. He said as such, and Rhunok welcomed him as one of his youngest followers.
