Creation: He can bring drawings into reality. He can bring his creations to life by drawing in sand or dirt, or by using art tools and paper. Has to be drawn by his own hand. Can range from organic to inanimate objects. He can only have 4 creations in existence at once, and if he tries for a 5th, he'll blackout. Each creation uses part of his energy, living creations uses more energy than inanimate ones. The time frame for each creation depends on how many are in play at a given time. One creation would be able to last up to two hours, whereas if he had all four, they would only last 15-30 minutes each. Mixing his own blood will grant them a longer time span, but the affects afterwards are greater for Yuu. The only limitations to size is, the bigger they are the more damage Yuu takes when they are destroyed. So because of this, he limits himself to things no bigger than the size of a bear. When his creations are destroyed it's like they are being killed, so their life energy is lost, and Yuu has to recover it on his own through eating or rest.

Seemingly quiet and unapproachable, really loves to meet new people and make friends, but because of his face people tend to avoid him. He is incredibly clumsy and has a hard time paying attention to his surroundings. Tends to neglect eating when he gets deep into painting.

Growing up, Yuu was a very boastful child. He was incredibly proud of his baby sister and his parents. His parents work as engineers, developing technology to help heroes boost the strength of their quirks. His father, Kotetsu Kisube, has a Metal Creation quirk, allowing him to create metal to use in his prototypes without wasting actual resources. Yuu's mother, Eirin Kisube, has a Hologram Projection quirk, allowing her to build grand scale blueprints to assist her husband. Yuu also has a sister, Satomi, who is a year younger than him. He acted as her hero and they were very close. At the age of four, when Yuu's quirk developed, he was the pride and joy of his parents, having a quirk similar to both parents. Unfortunately, when Satomi's quirk developed a year later, attention quickly shifted to her and away from Yuu. Growing increasingly jealous of his younger sister, Yuu began to distance himself. Satomi not realizing why her big brother was ignoring her tried her best to get his attention. Not realizing the difference in their quirks, Satomi threw a small boulder at Yuu (as this was something her and her father would do when playing). The blow struck Yuu in the abdomen, and he was in the left unconscious and in the hospital for a week. When he came to, he didn't remember anything that had happened and was told by his parents that he protected his sister from a wild dog. Satomi being young later forgot she caused the incident and also began to believe the wild dog story. This one white lie boosted Yuu's confidence in his own quirk, and rather than try to compete with his sister he learned to embrace his own.

Upon entering middle school, Yuu became increasingly withdrawn. Growing up, he always had Satomi, his best friend, but after being split to attend an all boys school whilst she entered an all girls school, he learned that he didn't have anyone else. Yuu noticed the quirks of his peers and how different his really was, slowly losing confidence in himself yet again. He muddled through middle school, the idea of entering U.A. no longer on his mind. He'd decided he'd go to an art academy to better his skills so he can work with his parents after graduation. Being a hero no longer looked hopeful in his eyes. His sister decided it was her turn to be Yuu's hero, and talked to him, telling him about all the things he could do and accomplish as a hero and that she would be there for him every step, as long as he was there for her too. In his fourtheeth year, Toshiyuki Kisube applied and was accepted into U.A. High School. Alongside his sister, the two decided they would be come a sibling duo team. That was until Yuu's fateful meeting with Yura Koizumi.

A few weeks into the new school year, Yuu was sitting under a the shade of a tree drawing while he waited for his sister, when Yura approached him, dehydrated from the summer's heat. She noticed his drawings, and while not in her right mind, drenches Yuu and his sketchbook while calling his drawing gross. Using up all her water supply, she collapses and mumbles out the word 'water'. Yuu quickly runs to buy a bottle of water for her, and after perking back up, the two introduce themselves to each other. Yuu, in an attempt to make friends, belted out a string of puns, to which Yura laughed. A reaction he wasn't entirely used to. Their next meeting was light, and Yuu teased her about their first meeting.  Yuu introduced Yura to his sister later on and this became the start of their friendship as well as their hero trio!

Ryota Akiyama - Yuu's Boyfriend - Loves him more than art. They first met when Yuu was left partnerless during gym and Ryota decided to be his partner because he knew nothing about his classmate. Their first meeting was awkward, because Yuu couldn't maintain eye contact while training. Yuu thought Ryota was really cool and didn't want people to shun Ryota for hanging out with him. However, Ryota was very persistent to hang out with Yuu, and that made him feel incredibly special. After a while, Ryota joined Yuu's friend circle and the distance between the two began to close. After awhile they did everything together and the two exchanged a kiss, igniting a spark that brought the two together as boyfriends.

Satomi Kisube - Yuu's Sister - The two are inseparable. As long as the other has been alive, they have been together.  Yuu was like a guardian figure to Satomi while their parents were always away for work. Yuu dotes on his sister as much as possible. He was left a little heartbroken when she began to start spending more time and even began dating his best friend, Yura. Despite them not spending as much time together, he still loves and his incredibly happy for her new found happiness.

Yura Koizumi - Yuu's Best Friend - Yura was Yuu's first friend, and the only person who seemed to be able to tolerate his obnoxious puns. Their first meeting wasn't a good one, when Yura who was delirious from the summer's heat, soaked all of Yuu's drawings while called them gross. But after explaining herself and apologizing, the two spent many days under the shade of the tree talking about art and school. He teases her daily about how she stole away his precious sister, and that Yura better make Satomi the happiest in the world.
