Sadie (the Masked Bandit)

- A hard-working gentleman, Sadie has wrinkled skin that is naturally a pale pink undertone. But due to so much time spent in the sun working, he is normally seen with a heavy tan.
   Has a few sets of freckles along his nose and jaw due to sun exposure as well.
- What was once flaxen blonde hair is now entirely gray. It's short-to-medium length, never reaching past his chin, and due to often wearing a hat, it sticks back and out of his face. Its straight and thin.
- Working hard has left him more muscular than his rakish disposition. His musculature along his body isn't apparent, though, and just looks 'thick'.
- Most notably, when Sadie is thieving, he dons a number of his masks from his collection. The commonly worn mask of repute is a pure-white mask with dark eye and mouthholes that make a very dramatic, unsettling expression.
   Another common mask he uses is a black, rectangular voodoo mask that resembles a skull in the center.
- Has facial hair-- it often changes, but he's usually seen with a heavy stubble-beard, at the very least.
- Has a broken nose.
- Comes off larger than life with a stiff, tall posture.
   His lower arms+hands are about the only thing on his body that look corded and especially muscular, and commonly gesticulates when trying to intimidate someone.

- Sadie is intentionally enigmatic; he much prefers finding his entertainment in his crimes than with companionship of any kind. While there are people throughout his life that have riled him up in one fashion or another, if he can avoid it, he does.
- Natural born leader due to his calculating demeanor and 'impartial' attitude.
- Knows that he comes off astute and precise, and plays the part well. Whether or not he actually believes it himself is another story.
   And he mostly sticks around younger folks for that exact reason of being able to fool them perfectly.
- On that note, Sadie is one for long 'thinks'. Will consider all angles of situations if given the chance.
- Never feels like he fits in and while he's no longer uncomfortable about it, he contemplates why that feeling consumes him every so often and finds it frustrating that he never has an answer, in all his years of placing that feeling.
- Also doesn't help that he finds himself in his head more often than not-- it comes off as calculating.
- If it isn't obvious, he likes being 'above' everyone and controlling things. He figures he does a good enough job, in comparison to sitting tight and letting some other idiot do a bad job!
- Underhanded in that he will let someone make a fool of themselves if it makes him look good. He will also speak up if he realizes that others want to but cannot.
   Otherwise, he doesn't like having all the attention. There's no point in taking the limelight for no good reason (if he's going to be remembered, he wants to be really remembered, for a very long time)...

What's to say about a man like Sadie? It seems like he's been around forever... He was born in America, but that's about all that's known on him, not being one for pleasantries or abetting gossip.

He knows so much and acts like he has it all together. His mother and father sure did seem to raise him right...!

...Except... Well, he has some strange- some would say unnatural- affinity for crime.
It started off small-time in his young adulthood, pick-pocketing in the saloons, gambling dens, and whorehouses.
He even tried all sorts of wrong-doings like lighting fires to infrastructures and hurting others, but nothing ever gave him so much satisfaction as stealing. Maybe because it gives him more money? Nobody really knows, again, since Sadie never talks about 'such frivolous details'.

Well, that doesn't matter too much, because he's been all over America, and he's still not satisfied with how much he's pilfered.
Right now he's in Texas with a couple of rancheros, robbing people and the like-- scared the law enough to get Wanted under the moniker "The Masked Bandit".

He's getting old, though, and the crimes he grew into are quickly fading out. It's not a good feeling to be threatened to be left behind, but he's not gonna stop unless they finally nab him and hang him up. He rather likes the idea of being infamous in tandem with his criminal obsession.
