An NPC from my campaign turned character. Tchotchke is your dude if you want to find ANYTHING in the world. He's a long-time thief and collector of cool, magical items. And he'll do it for you...for a price. Or if you find a way to threaten him enough.
Tchotchke (he'll also reply to Knick or Knack), has a whole jacket full of items that he treasures. He's based on geckos but operates in-game as a kobold. He's a short little dude, only 3' tall and that helps him slip in and out of problems.
