If you asked Florence to describe herself, she'd say she's an average high schooler who just so happens to have a popular YouTube channel. Ask any of her friends, though, and they'd tell you a different story. Ever since she enrolled in Avalon's Ordinary School she and her dogs (which she summons from a magic camcorder) became instrumental in protecting the school (and the planet by extension) from The Legion, an alien threat that has Earth squarely in its sights. She isn't lying when she says she's average, but at this strange school average is anything but.

Backstory
Florence's life was mostly uneventful before enrolling in Avalon's Ordinary School. She had a best friend in elementary school, Bea, and they were so close that they promised to marry each other when they got older. Unfortunately, at 11 Florence had to move away due to her mom's job and fell out of touch with Bea. Soon after moving Florence picked up an old camcorder at a garage sale so that she could record herself playing guitar. The first time she turned it on a talking miniature husky popped out, and with some further coaxing a dire wolf followed. Naming these two Bailey and Toby, respectively, they were her most consistent source of companionship at her new school. Soon, Bailey became key to Florence's constant source of income as well, as Florence's YouTube channel where she made song covers with Bailey's help took off. As Florence became more well known she sought to join a different school where she wasn't the local celebrity, and enrolled in Avalon's.
Present Day
Since enrolling, Florence's life has taken a turn for the weird. She's found a group of other teenagers with similar powers and skills, including her old friend Bea, and with them has fought against aliens and school drama alike. Over the course of her adventures she's become more in tune with the magic of her camcorder, now being able to summon 3 wolves at a time, and been tasked with saving the planet from threats far beyond her reach. Though it can all make getting her homework done on time a chore, she willingly does it so that others don't come to harm. (And so that she can look cool in front of Bea.)
