Carmen always wanted more for her creations and her world. The fight against the forces of the Void let her see an ugly truth that she could not fix. The two worlds of Asharia and Earth would soon merge. The others in her group relentlessly amassing more power to combat forces that could crush them with a simple turn of a finger. Each choice getting harder to make until the last battle needed to be fought. And if she wasn't careful, then she too would fall to the same tricks and methods the original Artificer used, apathy and unfeeling, brutal domination. This, could not stand. She created life in her work and rebuilt Herbie into a man of metal and heart, crafting him the weapons the Ghostbusters used to fight off evil gods. With her dreams of seeing the stars and rage in her soul she crafted the arsenal of the fictional Doomguy and made it her own with a mechanical exo-skeleton she calls the "Ock System" after Spider-Man's Dr. Octopus, augmenting her strength and sending magical energy coursing through her body with a stubborn fury born of 73 years of blood, sweat, and tears. She is Carmen Frizz, the Soul of Artifice. And she will build a safe future today for the world of tomorrow she may never see.
Appearance:
Carmen is a 73 year old black grandma. With white/grey hair, glasses, and red eyes. She often wears yellow and a work apron with various invention tools and wrenches. She has a friend Herby who is a sentient nerf turret.

Bio Older: Carmen is a 73 year old Librarian from Inglewood CA. She is also hosts a YouTube channel where she shows off her tinkering creations. Unfortunately, Carmen's library was blown up by Kinkaid, and her husbands ashes were stolen, so she sets off on a quest. While always good at inventions, Carmen learns of new artificer magic abilities to modify her creations past reality and sometimes make them come alive. She has modified her nerf turret Herby who is now sentient, and can morph between force bullets and a flamethrower. She is the reincarnation of the Goblin Artificer hero. She used to keep her husband Calvin's ashes with her, but Gabriel Kincaid stole them.
Carmen learns she is the a reincarnation the "artificer" of one of the 7 heroes, and has to team up with the others to stop the Big Four from getting out and ending the world. Her world (2020 earth) and a fantasy world of Asharia are merging, and as magic becomes real so do the monsters, and its Carmen's job to stop them. Unfortunately one of the 7 heroes of old, Kinkaid the Bard, has betrayed the rest of the group and left them to fend for themselves.
