Lox

Powers:

-His influence on compulsions is very minor, generally affecting the weak willed or emotional only. He'd call it a lucky streak, but it is a form of racial magic. Susceptible people may find themselves relaxing their trigger finger for a beat or perhaps loosening their grip on something important. 

-His "relaxing aura" is just as subtle, also magical and involuntary. Lox would attribute its effects to his charisma, but really his magic just weakens the guard of susceptible people. He comes across as trustworthy or maybe just harmless. The spell is easily broken, but makes for favorable first impressions.

Essentials:

-Lox is the son of a minorly famous pirate queen named Ocelli. She runs a gang called the Nixies who are best known for stealing expensive spaceworthy vehicles, which they turn around for a tidy profit.

-While Lox's moral code is highly questionable, he is not content with his current job. In canon, he's working off a debt to a man at the center of a slave ring. "Better you than me" is Lox's eternal motto, but it doesn't sit well.

-In his universe, mixed race kids are referred to as "fae." He's prodominately elfin, with a dash of naiad and who knows what else?

-In several AUs, he has a pet falcon or harpy friend named Fenne. She's young and likes to bite.   

Relationships:

Cappella:

Beautiful, suspicious lady who really has no business associating with his social circles. A royal guard asking for help from him and his family? Hilarious! Also, obviously a worthy association to foster.

Husk:

Holy shit, no one said that the person Cappella was rescuing was a death priest! No one is stupid enough to try and ransom them, usually, but apparently Lox's boss is paying big bank to get his hands on one. Is it worth betraying them for that cash...?
