Togo's Terms of Service

By using my codes, free or purchased, you agree to these rules:

All edits must be done with WYSIWYG OFF and Code Editor ON. This must be set through your display settings, do not use the toggle above the editor. Saving anything with WYSIWYG on will completely break the layout, and you will need to grab a fresh copy of the code and start over.
Any messages clearly disregarding this rule will be ignored.

All templates come as is. I always have and will continue to provide live previews, please check them on all your devices before purchasing anything. If anything looks off in a specific browser, screen size or theme feel free to let me know, but I cannot guarantee any fixes.

Do not remove my credit. In most layouts, my credit is unintrusive. You are allowed to move/style it, but keep it visible and easy to find.

Do not redistribute my codes or parts of my codes, neither free nor paid ones. If you want to save your own copies, please do so privately.

[ Paid Content ]

P2U codes can be purchased from my Gumroad shop or my Ko-fi shop. When purchased, you'll either recieve an email or find the code in your Gumroad/Ko-fi library.

Sharing paid content is not allowed. P2U codes are for the purchaser's use only. You can use purchased content across as many characters and accounts as you wish, as long as you are the primary owner.

I do not offer refunds, since I have no way to revoke access to purchased content. You are responsible for purchasing templates you can and wish to use, including content limited to premium TH users.

As of Novemember 2022, I no longer offer to authorize codes straight on TH.

[ Code-Related Questions ]

Reiterating that all templates come as is, and that you're expected to fill them out yourself. You can send me questions, but I'm less likely to reply if they're any of the following:

  • Changing a theme coloured code to custom colours, and vice versa
  • Fixing HTML that breaks when you use it with someone else's CSS
  • "it broke help", AKA not explaining your issue properly
  • General coding questions unrelated to my templates

Don't poke me for answers to coding questions. If I don't reply within 48 hours, assume I don't have the time/energy to help you.

Feel free to ask others on the coding forums or in the help thread.

[ Edits ]

Any edits you want to make are your own responsibility. Please don't eye a free or paid code with the intention of asking me to change something for you. If you break a code with your edits, you're better off grabbing a fresh copy and starting over; I will not clean up your broken code for you.

Editing, referencing, taking heavy inspiration and pulling out parts of my codes for your own personal use is totally fine. Keep my credit in, don't claim what you didn't make as your own, and don't post the source code publically.

Frankensteining/fusing for your own personal use is also fine, as long as all involved coders allow it and are properly credited.

My templates come de-tabbed and with all the "fillable" sections separated for quick editing. If you want to make heavy edits to the actual code, I would recommend running my source code through an HTML formatter; TH uses 2 spaces per indent.

[ For Coders / Redistribution ]

If you'd like to redistribute edited, heavily inspired or frankensteined versions of my codes, you must contact me and ask beforehand.

I most likely won't bug you if you reference or take inspiration from my code, but I'd prefer if you asked before redistributing anything!

If you do customs, you're welcome to offer paid edits of my F2U codes. Feel free to let me know as well, so I can recommend you ;D

If you're asked to edit one of my P2U codes, please contact me and ask beforehand.

Failure to follow my rules will result in a warning, followed by a block. If anything is unclear, please ask.

Apologies if I come across super strict here, I'm a cranky old man and I've been burned one too many times by this hellsite.
You don't need to confirm that you've read the rules, but if you use my codes please consider leaving a character link in the comments! I love seeing people use my stuff <3
