Blue Zircon

The oldest Gem in existence, Blue Zircon's gemstone arrived on the planet via meteorite and 60,000 years later, they emerged for the first time. They've lived on Mask Island since then, but they often explore the planet to learn about the different organisms. Their only contact with other Gems was when soldiers were sent to scout the area during the Rebellion, but Blue Zircon never stuck around for long. Eventually they befriended two lost Gems and is currently working on restoring life to the Kindergartens.

Blue Zircon is cautious around unfamiliar people and situations, prefers to take the passive role, and carefully overthinks their actions and resulting consequences that could arise. Naturally they feel they have the responsibility to look over the Earth and protect it however they can. They never aided or joined the Crystal Gems because their leader came across them one day and her persistence and question-asking scared them off for good.
