Looks younger than he is. Unawakened see a dark-skinned teen. Hellhound form is a blue dog-like creature of lightning, about the size of a beagle. Looks like a young black dog to the unawakened.

Personality

Restrained - Holds himself back. Shy. Unsure of himself. Nervous if people pay too much attention.

Dog - Much more comfortable in hellhound form. He'll retreat into it when distressed or overwhelmed. Has doglike mannerisms. Will growl at strangers that get too close, but affectionate with those who win his trust.

Socially Clueless - Did not have a proper childhood. Does not know anything about pop culture. Behind academically. Relates to people more on a physical level, playing games and sports.

Additional Information - Being called they makes him self conscious, although his gender presentation varies widely as he explores living as a human. Has long hair because he panicked whenever anyone came near him with scissors.

- Created in Hell, hellhounds were basically treated as work animals, slaves, and expendable fighters.
- Kidnapped by angels. They were taking hellhounds and experimenting on them to figure out how to make their own, and justified it as them being demons.
- Experiments made him weak and sickly, but at least he survived.
- The group of angels are attacked and he manages to get sent to Earth during the battle. Lives as a stray for a few months and eventually ends up in Polaris Pass.
- Taken in and cared for by the Devrys who think he's just a lost monster dog.
- Selkiris is pressured by his wife to adopt when they discover he's a person. He has been homeschooled for roughly a year, to catch up and so he wouldn't accidentally awaken someone, but they think he's ready for school, although he's a year behind academically.
