[Appearance]

Sampson is a tall slender rat standin at a height of 5 foot 8. He has dark chocolate brown hair that oft smells faintly like burning coal, but is curly and soft to the touch. It tends to grow out quickly, reaching past his shoulderblades within half a month's time, though he cuts it short again before it can grow past that length. His eyes are a bright amber brown with his left-eye pupil being split in 2, accented nicely by white curly fur that tufts out around his wrists and ankles and base of his tail. Chocolate colored markings mask his face and go down his back into a distinct variegated pattern. His flesh is a soft pink color and pair of broken horns sit atop his head. His tail is nearly twice his body length and weighs 65lbs on its own.

[Manner of Speech]

Sampson has a slight korean accent and tends to stumble over his words when he talks. He also bears a habit of lying without thinking about nearly anything, whether it be small details or important events, especially when being confronted or when he finds himself being the center of attention. Additionally, Sampson has the nervous habit of thumping his tail against the floor when something is wrong or bothering him.

Sampson is the type of person that isn't afraid to express himself. He is smart and manipulative, but also genuine and down-to-earth. However his social ineptness usually causes him to only come across as a clueless asshole. Sampson is well aware of his inability to convey his feelings in a proper way, so he tends to be rather reserved around others when it comes to being true to himself. Once he's around people he feels comfortable with is when his personality really shines, showing just how much of a clumsy lovable prankster he is and how much he loves to sing and have a good time.

[S U M M A R Y:]

Sampson didn't get along well with his older brother, despite only wanting to please him as he followed him around expressing his admiration. They would often get into arguments and petty fights, but it was usually broken up before things got too serious. That is-- until one day it wasn't. It ended with his brother's death and Sampson being chased off, away from the compound his family had lived in and into the city to fend for himself. From there he stayed in an orphanage until finally being adopted out by a sweet old rabbit taur, though thanks to her age the pair weren't able to stick together for long, though the bond between them grew strongly during the time they could spend together. After her death and many failed attempts to get a job, Sampson was forced into the life of an assassin, where he now spends his time getting paid to hunt down and kill others. [T R I V I A :]

• Sampson has a good internal compass, and always seems to know the direction he is traveling in. 
• Sampson's tail has very little feeling in it, so when he's not careful it can easily get slammed in doors and become cut up as it drags behind him without notice.
• He has a particular weakness for adopting stray animals, but for some reason they never seem to live very long...
• He is never on time. Sampson is always at least ten minutes early or ten minutes late to any meeting or appointment.
• Despite not having any feeling in it, Sam's tail is fully prehensile, and he uses it for a number of simple tasks from picking up a cup to binding up a person.
• Sampson usually has loose change in his pocket to give to beggars or the homeless he passes on the street.
• His tail is powerful enough to break bone, and if swung too hard it can actually break his own back.
• ...He's allergic to housecats.
• Sampson is partially blind in his left eye.
