Marno fancies herself more important than she actually is. She's still of use to the Kaiju Coffee Corporation in helping quire fossils and samples of prehistoric DNA, but her sense of self-importance greatly exaggerates just how involved she is with the company's inner workings.
When not acting as muscle or a nuisance in any of the corporate office spaces, she spends a decent chunk of time prowling metropolitan jungles and expensive tourists traps in various locations.
- Marno is the Americanized version of Maruno, which is Japanese in origin.
- Though she would never admit it, Marno is an avid World of Warcraft player- her main is a troll druid with a variety of hard-to-obtain mounts, her favorite being the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent.
- Marno was accidentally brought to life whilst still submerged in her incubation tank. Thought to have become brain-dead due to lack of oxygen from the moment of consciousness, her creators were surprised to find that she was, in fact, alive! Less surprising was how livid she was.
- Despite her colorful pastel coat and glossy plumage, a big chunk of her DNA construction is a hefty dose of ankylosaurus- it's more easily spotted in her deadly spiky tail.
- Marno doesn't have a legal last name, as she isn't a part of any major system other than the Kaiju Coffee Corp. If for whatever reason she needs to sign something, he signs Marno Moon (which she picked because she liked the way it sounded).
