history
A traveller from a distant plane of reality, Rebus has never stayed too long in one place for a time, though they do like to revisit ones that they find interesting or those that have familiar faces they'd like to see again. Reb has a taste for adventure and jumps eagerly at almost every opportunity that presents itself if it means being able to discover new places and learn new things.
Though Reb's origin isn't very significant to them, they were quite certain that before life was breathed into the vessel they currently possess, they may have once been the ghost of a star that died, though its location is one that he never remembers nor wants to. When he says he's got stardust in his veins, he means it.

design notes
- Most of Rebus' spots can be drawn randomly; but there are four specific markings on their arms and legs that resemble each card suit. (will make a reference sheet including this soon)
- The wing-like markings on Rebus' back fade whenever their actual wings appear.
- There is a small waning crescent marking on their forehead.

On the surface, Rebus is generally reserved and kind. They like to keep to themselves for the most part but can get very rambunctious and loud when around people they're comfortable with. Rebus has trouble controlling and regulating their volume, though they don't usually mean to be as loud as they can be, it's become such a habit for them to be talkative even when they're by themself.
Reb adores talking to their friends about interests, and just checking in on loved ones to see how they may be faring. They're just here to try things out and enjoy it, though they can admittedly get competitive, they're learning to let go of things and move on easily.
Admittedly, Rebus is easily excitable and impulsive, but they do their best to consider their actions before actually carrying them out, as they have no wish to hurt anyone- until they do.
