Akari's a pretty quiet and reserved guy. His introverted nature makes it hard for him to socialize with strangers for long periods of time as it burns him out; He prefers to spend his free time with close friends or alone. Those who do happen to qualify as a friend of his can verify that he's a kind hearted and humorous guy to have as a friend. He's quite helpful, and loves to comfort and tease those he loves.
His silent nature can make it look like he's judging you, but in reality he's just too anxious to start a conversation. Having a messed up past, Akari has a hard time trusting strangers, and occasionally has had to leave the conversation because of this. He tends to hold grudges for long periods of time in a passive-aggressive way.
Akari's a pretty quiet and reserved guy. Those who have run into him can tell you that he's quite a kind fellow despite his monotone exterior! He enjoys traveling, so he'll often take long walks in between research sessions. Unfortunately and ironically, he has a terrible sense of direction which often leads him to wander further than intended!

Akari's magic manifests in the form of a snake that rests on his shoulder. Having an affinity for dark/psychic type magic, it's merely a shadow and not a real snake by any means. It is capable of harnessing a measure of control over a victim who has been bitten. While his level of control over a host is quite strong, this ability wears off when the subject leaves Akari's field of vision, or if he runs out of energy. (This form of magic is very taxing, especially for someone of his small build. He rarely uses this.)
- Akari has a lean and small build; he's shorter than the average male.
- He often has a black shadow of a snake on his shoulder.
- His curse mark is located behind the right shoulder where his snake usually rests.
- His animal traits cannot be removed.
- The flames on his ears and on his tail must always be visible, and cannot be removed. The ear flames are tattoos, but his tail flame is a real flame so it must always point upward.
Blake is Akari’s half sibling. Under Wynhaven’s roof, Blake’s father and the former king made it a personal goal to single out Akari and his twin as they were the result of his wife’s infidelity.
As the oldest son in the family, he felt stressed with the pressure his father put on him and took it out on the twins. When he got older he realized how flawed the whole situation is and began trying to help them without causing suspicion.
Blake and Akari are now incredibly close and Akari considers him a brother regardless of blood. He was the first one to come to Akari’s aid after he was ‘deadlocked’.
Seraphina is Akari’s half sibling. Under Wynhaven’s roof, Blake’s father and the former king made it a personal goal to single out Akari and his twin as they were the result of his wife’s infedelity.
She was indifferent to the twins growing up which almost felt worse. She was indifferent to her father’s ideas in general; in his eyes she was just the extra that came with his first son.
They’re close although it’s certainly different from his relationship with Blake, he often confides in her and asks for advice often.
Tikki is his twin and the only other result of his mother’s infidelity. Growing up his sense of pride caused him to stand up for her and grow protective. Tikki hates it, but is thankful and knows that it’s because of the trauma response that grew so long ago. They’re actively working on it.
Both are very independent but never fail to check on each other, and also keep each other in check! They know each other’s mannerisms VERY well and can call bullshit if needed.
