Mao β π¨'s Links
She delivers Mao's mail in a timely matter. Sometimes she draws cute doodles of birds on packages. That's basically all she really thinks of Cupid.
Quiet...Mysterious...rarely seen...quite a new experience for Cupid. Mao's the only person who doesn't stick around to chat or enthusiastically greet her! On one hand, it's a relief as Cupid doesn't really know how to react to her, but she's still interested in Mao. She noted that Mao seems to enjoy the bird doodle she draws on packages, but has yet to broach the subject.
NoΓ«lle finds Mao insanely intimidating. She's intelligent, elegant, and dominant. Everything NoΓ«lle thinks she herself is lacking. She's well aware Mao isn't as mean as she seems upon first glance, but she still can't help how uneasy she feels. It's just that...Mao looks mad all the time. She can't figure out if she is, and if she is, why she tolerates NoΓ«lle. She appreciates Mao's "pep talks" when she's having an especially bad day, and her overall generous treatment towards her, though. She wants to get to know Mao more.
Mao sees him exactly as the clumsy, big puppy he really is. He's interesting to her because she knows he's extremely strong and can be quite intimidating, but he's also such...a doofus. It's charming to her.
He's not really that clumsy, but he finds Mao extremely attractive and interesting. She's small, small and fluffy. But she's strong and perfectly capable of taking him on in a fight. Clell has a huge crush on her, not that he quite...realizes that. Just another part of her that interests him, she makes him nervous but in a way that differs from how other things make him nervous. He has a really hard time putting up a tough front with her.
I'd like to see you try silly cunt. I'll put you in the fucking ground
I would kill my best friend to be in bed right now I don't even care
"Fucker."
These two are like water and oil trying to mix. Mao would respond one of two ways upon seeing Inuoka: fight, or ignore. She'd love to get one good punch or kick (or both) in on him. Just as a bit of payback for the times he's hit her as kids. Other than that, she wants nothing more than to completely erase his existence from her own and make it so they never interact again. If that requires cutting off the entire family, then so be it.
Inuoka somewhat envies Mao, as well as hates her guts. He envies that she made her own walk of life (which he assumes is full of mischief and degeneracy, but still, she was able to make her own choices) and envies that she was born first of all of them. A large part of his hatred is from his father's influence, as he also saw her as "unfit" to be eldest, and expected her to play a motherly role and care for not only her younger siblings and housework, as well as schooling and personal affairs. It kinda pisses him off that she could juggle all of that, though...He can't see the strain it put on her both mentally and physically.
White Toshiro wasn't nearly as cruel as her other siblings (minus Inra), she can't fully say she's comfortable with him or trust him. That being said, she doesn't hold much resentment towards him either. More neutral.
Toshiro regrets not speaking up against how their father (and in turn, Inuoka) treated Mao. He also regrets the role he played in that, even if it was minimal. He feels partially responsible for her leaving at such a young age. Toshiro carries a great amount of respect for her mental strength at handling all of the pressure and negativity their family put upon her. Honestly, he saw her as a bit of a mother figure as well, but he'd never seriously admit to it. Would like to see her again and apologize, but he doubts she'd accept if he even did see her.
Mao's favourite sibling. Thoughtful, kind, but needs to be pushed. He's too meek. Mao sees a bright future for him; he's certainly capable of great things in her opinion. Possibly the only sibling she would say she has the ability to "miss"
Inra finds it hard to recall much about Mao, but he cherishes the memories of her reading to him and sparking his interest in the sky as a child. Inra doesn't think she's a bad person, regardless of what Inuoka says about her. He's still upset she left the family before he was old enough to remember more, but not at her, he's wise enough to know there's more to the story than he's been told. The hesitation Toshiro has when she's mentioned was his first clue.
