Shodogami is a paint brush spirit Yokai who has lived for a long long time. At one point Shodogami aquired a taste for human flesh and began to hunt men as his favorite snack. Eventually, he was captured by The Demon Hunters and since then has been rehabilitated to stop eating human flesh. Shodogami is a calm Fae who spends most of his time painting with his tail, but can become incredibly irritated if someone interupts him. Given his great age he often dispenses wisdom to anyone in earshot, and rambles about things as he paints.

Shodogami has the ability to infuse magic into his paitings to bring them to life temporarily, which can include figures or phrases. These illusions can only last a few moments and will melt if they make contact with water, or shatter if they make contact with fire. He is currently set up to become one of Darling's Familiars
