  DESCRIPTION   

The Gambler is a Slugcat cursed with randomness. Every day, he wakes up in a random den, with random stats, and with any items turned into random other items. His Karma is also randomized every Cycle-- but that hardly matters when every day you could end up in another region. However, he is also able to see and perceive the likelihood of events happening around him due to his Golden Eye (actually a Pearl he decided to replace his missing eye with). Using this, he can predict the damage dealt by any surrounding creatures, how likely they are to attack him, and so forth.

  PERSONALITY   

The Gambler is an aloof and smug Slugcat. S smugcat. He sees his curse as more of a blessing than anything, and desires to see one of every object in his life. He is a trader by nature, appearing at random to give and receive objects from other Slugcats and Scavengers. However, this forced nomadic lifestyle has led to The Gambler becoming a rather lonely Slugcat. Still, he goes along his way with a spring in his step, assuming that the world is small enough that he will one day wake back up in the den of a former friend (or, enemy)!

  HISTORY   

The Gambler cannot remember when he was born, or if he inherited his Karmatic Curse or gained it from another means. Nor does he remember losing his eye, and even stranger, replacing it with his new Golden Eye (a pearl). Just that he has been traveling around since he can remember. He lives life casually, always assuming that wherever he will end up, he will find food and friends to share it with. His favorite Slugcats to end up with are The Junker and The Layman, because he thinks they are immensely funny for some reason.
