Cristóbal Lawrence

Cristóbal Lawrence, better known as Lawrence, is a designer, founder, and CEO of Cristóbal House, as well as a Mignyan. The effeminate, bedazzling charm that is Lawrence, is a man full of tease, narcissism, and charm. A celeb defined by his raunchy lookbooks and housewife-of-state personality, His charisma has helped raise the young company from the ground-up, despite his suffocating holier-than-thou personality. Lawrence enjoys a fruitful life up top with his equally wealthy friends, weekends spent in house parties, fashion shows and car dealerships. His fame is outlined by his highly publicized on-and-off flames, as well as highly successful design pieces as a couturier.

Lawrence is nicknamed "the Scorpion" for the singular earring he always bears, as well as his signature pieces for high-profile celebrities. It doesn't really matter that his body looked eerily the same to a missing John Doe rumoured to be attacked by a mysterious creature - and anyways, he said his scars were due to a careless supercar accident... Also, if you saw whatever it was slithering from the back of his neck... no you didn't. (No, you really didn't, because you're now dead. Or more precisely, cannibalised.)

About

Lawrence's body is relatively unknown, save for the one-time bizarre Internet spectacle where a security footage captured the John Doe being attacked  by an anthropod-like creature. The footage has now been largely dismissed as a coincidence, where even Lawrence himself cashes in on the  joke that he was the said body, and was nothing remarkable before the crab-scorpion creature's attack. Really, he's just hiding in plain sight.

The mignyan crab had looked for a host immediately upon arrival for efficiency, ready to take anybody that was passing by on a relatively uneventful weekday - though largely underestimated the future host's strength. When the classic infection method through the head merely left a wound across the host's body, the mignyan had no choice but to force entry by wounding the host, entering via a cross-shaped incision it made, then crawling upwards into the head. From there, the mignyan laid low for a few years, establishing an identity before debuting as the exclusive extravaganza that was named Cristóbal Lawrence - or simply Lawrence - whose personality was shaped by the mignyan's inherent diva persona, as well as consumption of luxury goods through a TV screen during the days he laid low.

Lawrence has excellent control over his undisguised form - a single vestigal limb that unfurls form his nape - he thinks it's a thing of beauty, really. He keeps his undisguised form minimalist, and rarely unfurls it even when nobody's around. He only purposefully reveals it in front of his meal - usually an unfortunate party guest - and likes toying with them by only occasionally slithering his limb out, tricking them into thinking they're seeing things. It's when Lawrence offers them a room to lie down and they let go of their guard when Lawrence strikes - a single pierce clean through the skull - and Lawrence has never missed. 

Only problem is, Lawrence is far too picky about his meals. Apparently, 'mediocre' men don't cut it. Except he keeps dating men who were supposed to be his meals, before he thought - oh, you're too hot to eat. Then he gets into a whirlwind romance with them before deciding yeah, maybe I should eat you.

Personality

Defined by his cooled, yet somehow chaotic charisma - elegantly stupid, if you will. Likes to carry himself with importance, even if he misses the point completely (as he often does). Though he's quite excessively egotistical and narcissistic, and goes into things without prior discussion or thought, he's quite genuinely fun to be around (if you can tolerate his idiot antics). A supersocial creature, inherently a diva at heart. Doesn't seem to have common knowledge of things, such as currency or how phones work.

Appearance

Lawrence is characterized by his medium skin and slim, slightly defined build, as well as two prominent hypertrophic scars: one across the bridge of his nose, as well as one resembling a cross, going down his chest and below his pectorals. He stands at 5'10" and wears a tailored striped suit, usually sans a shirt, as well as Oxford shoes. Has a streaked mullet, and bears a scorpion earring on his right ear. Appears youthful.

Relationships

Kim Doyoung
Lawrence's secretary and babysitter. Lawrence likes to offload work he can't do onto Doyoung (which is... a lot). Lawrence keeps on hitting on his secretary despite the latter's obvious repeated  rejection... probably due to the fact that when they used to have a thing, Lawrence tried to... err, eat him. Lawrence dotes on him and considers him his best friend, even though Lawrence likes to dunk on him with his endless stupidity. Lawrence can be laidback about his undisguised form around him, and even carelessly confides with him the species' plan to overtake the world. Still, there's just something about Lawrence that just seems oh-so-irresistible, that makes Doyoung crawl back (when he's drunk, anyway).

Trivia

• Likes using his vestigial limb as... well, a vestigial  limb. Lawrence likes to treat it as some other entity, even though it's just himself
• Takes his vestigial limb to spa treatments. Like I implied before, he thinks he's hot shit. Gives it eyedrops and everything.
• Waives any murder suspicion with a lot of money. There's not a lot, since he does a good job covering it up. Most has been his, err, dates.
• Thinks he's better than other Mignyans due to his fine control of his undisguised form. Flaunts about it until you want to die.

Meta/Design

• Feel free to swap out his earring to any style! As long as it's in the shape of a scorpion.
• He has a scar across his face, and a cross-shaped one that runs up between his chest and right below his pecs.
