Ann is a college dropout currently working at a local donut place. She studied multimedia art, but decided the structure wasn't worth the cost of admission. She now spends a lot of her free time playing video games, and making pieces from cool things she finds around her neighborhood.
Ann is a very perceptive person, able to pick up on things about people from their body language and tends to notice things others tend to overlook. She often goes peoplewatching with Emily, something the both of them enjoy as they're both observant of different things. The two met while doing this in a local park.
She befriended Mi after she'd repeatedly run into them both at work and at some of her favorite places. They had a lot of opportunities to talk, and became fast friends. She's pretty interested in Mi, being curious of their origin and their place in everything. She let Mi stay with her under the condition that they'd help her work on some of her pieces. Mi doesn't really get it, but the extra hands are what's important.
Ann doesn't talk much with her family after dropping out, feeling estranged after many strained talks trying to get her to stay. She's very content now, if a little bored. It gives her the opportunity to have a lot of opinions about things that are pretty inconsequential.
She thinks the Planet's Tears are a little freaky but cool. They don't seem to be doing any harm...
