Personality

Zephyr is laid-back, opportunistic, friendly, lazy, self-centered and basically a coward. He has been a serious fuckboy before fuckboy was even a term: he's misogynistic, homophobic and racist little prick.

Appearance

Zephyr is a slim and agile wolf who seems to be made for running instead of fighting. His fur is mainly dark gray with some blue, black and white markings and a tuft of mane on top of his head. His eyes are dark green. There are a few scars on his legs, a piercing on the left side of his face and he carries around a couple of throwing knives. He is 70 cm high and weights 35 kg.

Life

Zephyr was born for a nice wolf couple together with his brother Rain. The siblings were inseparable and after growing up and leaving their parents the brothers decided to form a pack together. They managed to talk a few wolves into their side until a beautiful young female named Raquel came into the picture. Both of the youngsters wanted to win the newcomer's heart for themselves, which turned their own relationship into a competition. Brothers started to quarrel more and more with each other and finally decided to settle the situation once and for all with a fight: the winner gets the female and the leadership and the loser has to leave everything behind. Zephyr was the one to come out of the battle as a victor, but to his grave disappointment Raquel wasn't interested in him. Pouting was all the pack leader seemed to do after that, and eventually the pack grew tired of his uncompetence and drove him away as well.

Offended Zephyr was more than happy to leave and start living much more worry-free life of short romances, fiery brawls and everything a young male could ever want. But one day he met one of his former pack mates and heard some shocking news: soon after his exile human hunters had come and killed most of the pack with their guns. Feeling guilty, ashamed and bereft Zephyr decided to travel so far he would never again meet anyone who would've known of his miserable past. That's how he ended up in Andriaana.

In his new home Zephyr soon joined the wolf pack of Edera. He wasn't going to become just an ordinary part of the pack, though: he wanted once again climb to the top of the hierarchy. That's why he was eager to agree at teaching one of the leader's daughters, Azallac, how to hunt and fight with throwing knives. Just as Zephyr had hoped they did grow quite close during the lessons and eventually even started dating. What the male didn't foresee though was that instead of just using her he actually started to care about his new mate. Despite that the new bond was truly tested when Azallac noticed she was pregnant. Zephyr was really close of leaving her and whole Andriaana behind by running away once again, but after pondering his situation he - surprisingly - turned around and returned to Azallac's side. Together they raised the litter of five puppies and Zephyr ended up loving every one of his little princes and princesses from the bottom of his heart.

Even if Zephyr's relationship did succeed to some extent, life in Edera was far from perfect. The large pack was in bad terms with a neighboring pack Djala, not to mention Edera itself was full of conspiring and betrayals. The hierarchy was in the state of constant change, until it was finally Azallac's turn to become the leader and Zephyr joined the pack's border guard. Unfortunately he had previously angered the male who had since become the head of the guard, Ister. After suffering his bullying long enough Zephyr and a few other guards gathered some evidence of Ister's unloyal behavior which got him fired from his position and Edera. Even if Zephyr wasn't in reality much better himself, he was then promoted to the head of the guards. It meant higher place in the hierarchy but also much more work, which eventually did take its toll also on Zephyr's and Azallac's relationship. They stared bickering with each other and Zephyr even ended up sleeping with other females every once in a while.

Things got even worse when a sudden epidemy broke out in Edera. A large portion of the pack got deathly ill, including many of the leaders, finally even Azallac. Despite their difficulties Zephyr was worried sick of his mate which made him severely neglect his job at the border guard. That didn't go unnoticed from Edera's enemies, and taking advantage of the situation Djala and the faction of Lahko attacked together in order to obliterate the whole wolf pack. Zephyr was in the front lines defending his pack and family, but he got pierced by Ister's spear and wasn't there to see how Edera's heart, an old mansion, burned down with many of his loved ones inside it.

About the character

• Created in 2007.
• Ever since joining Andriaana I wanted to bring my older character Rain into the game, but eventually I decided to use his very similar brother insted.
• At some point people started jokingly shipping Zephyr with another character called Rivel, who Zephyr never actually even met in games.
• Zephyr took part in my small game called Joulu Ederan kartanolla (the code is broken and the game doesn't work anymore) as well as Mayelia's kissing generator (no longer available).
