Zerek (Zerek Demon Turned)'s Links
He likes him more than any of the other demons they've encountered. Appreciates Akyro's protection, and guidance through the foreign land he's found himself in.
Knows about Akyro's dark desires of him, but does his best to ignore them and guide the demon's attention else ware. He doesn't want their friendship ruined.
Wants to protect him, but isn't always capable of it. He kicks himself for this.
Wants him to like him/stay with him the way Akyro does for him.
Finds Zerek a little frustrating sometimes, because of his lack of knowledge about demons and the realm he's in- but also finds it utterly adorable and wants to teach him as much as he can.
Angry that Zerek had to save Nala from Phayne's castle
he remembers something about Char. There's a familiarity to the demon that Zerek can't quite place.
Char recognizes Zerek, but can't quite place where he knows this demon from. Char and his horde has consumed the land, and reigns supreme, leaving few demons free of the horde, and even fewer humans left alive in the entire continent they reside in.
Upon their first encounter within the ruins of an old hunter city from 400 years prior, Char sends the might of his horde after Zerek to capture him, as all demons must join his horde, or suffer the consequences. However, the demon slips away with the help of a mysterious small and blue hair'd demon Char has also never seen before. He remains searching for them until their second encounter, where Char learns his name: Zerek. It can be no coincidence!
At first he is wary of Argo, but the demon stays true to his word and guides Zerek safely through Hell's desert.
intrigued by him. and thankful that he rescued him from the sand prison. He believes Zerek should return to Grieve as is the natural order of things- as he sees Zerek following a path that is not meant for him, but the half human will need realize this for himself.
does not remember her very much as he walks throughout Hell.
Upon seeing her for the first time in what could be millennia for him, but somewhere along the lines of 400 years for her, he is overcome with an odd sense of joy and relief, and some of anger. Anger not her, but to the whole situation. He doesn't understand why he feels these things, but she leads him to safety, and he watches through tears as she fades to nothing once they reach the outside. He's confused why he's so upset, but figures it's because of a past he doesn't remember.
Her soul wakes up in Char's volcano, and she views Zerek for the first time in over 400 years. She sees past his demon exterior and sees his soul has been cast into turmoil- unsure of what it is. The love she once felt for him is no longer there. Nothing but pity remains for this creature. She leads him out of the erupting volcano and disappears into nothing, once she reaches the light of day.
Zerek meets the blue hair'd demon when Char's horde chases him throughout ruins of an old city he feels he once knew. Once safe, the two exchange names, both demon lies to the other. Zerek, wary of everyone and everything after his times in Hell and now in this familiar, unfamiliar realm, tells the demon his name is Akyro. Both know the other is lying about their names, but continue to travel together for a small while. Zerek soon discovers this demon is gravely ill. A confusing matter for him, as he is certain demons don't get sick. What could it be?
Cutts calls himself Ridoku. A name he's used multiple times throughout lifetime, it's safer than using his more famous name 'Cutts'. He has been alone for much longer than he has ever been before, and clings to Zerek, desperate for company, but also too ill to stop the man from leaving him, should he wish to.
Though Zerek initially hates Grieve and fears him, he learns to appreciate him as he wanders Hell, and begins to understand the way this world works, and what Grieve's purpose is in all of it.
Sort of like a 'teacher' figure to Zerek. Though Zerek would not believe it at the time, but Grieve only wants to prepare the human for the horrors of Hell to come, even if Zerek doesn't like his methods, it's actually helping him in the long run.
He doesn't have much of an opinion of them since everything happened so fast!
they work on him for a bit. They are both very intrigued and excited to get this chance on such a unique creature.
