Middy was a kittypet raised on Warrior tales, a proud Warriorclanner under the name "Doveveil" they were certain they were meant for a life on the forest, so of course they, and their bestie at the time, went looking for the clans!

That didn't go well for neither of them though, the first clan cats they found hissed and spat at them, their bestie tried to run but Doveveil stood and fought! To prove they were strong and ready! But two grown warriors were too much for Doveveil and after scarring in one eye, they got to his friend. Doveveil never saw this friend again, and he left, for as far as his paws could take him, his heart now a husk of what it once was.

That was when he met Night, who was just as lost and sad as he was. They get along, he opens up about how he was refused his destiny and his newborn hatred for clan cats, ey open up about eir powers. At first Night wants to meet this Warriorclan but Doveveil is certain they won't accept him back now, so he just tells Night that they don't need Warriorclan! And starts calling zher Nightsong, it's all fun and games and coping together as they travel towards the city, where they meet Bloodclan

Bitter, spunky and young, they join their ranks and do well there. Doveveil is fiercely protective of Nightsong and never afraid to challenge the authorities. Bloodclan understood Doveveil and accepted them for who they were, feeding into their bitterness and giving them very unhelthy ways to deal with their issues, more and more, until it exploded in a fight between Doveveil and some Bloodclan higher ups, which triggered Nightsong's powers in a uncontrollable manner. Doveveil died in the fire from inhaling the smoke.

And after Nightsong let the river carry Doveveil's body, as there weren't any good places to burry them, Doveveil came back to life. Now, they had a bigger hole in his heart, newer purpose and new powers. He could make storms and lightning! He could finally prove himself to everyone! And he was just as powerful if not more than Nightsong. But where was lu?? Lu had killed him, but he could forgive lun, all they needed was to get together and destroy the clans, it would all be good again it would be just as they wished as kits and nothing would get in their way.

Except after all this time, moons of chasing zher, when they finally find Nightsong zhe isn't excited, zhe doesn't want to destroy the clans and worse! The worst of all, zhe had a new friend who had powers too... Doveveil felt betrayed, what was so good about this friend? Was the issue Doveveil didn't have powers like the friend? Well they do now and they're much better! Did Nightsong kill them on purpose after all? Could Doveveil trust no one to have his back? Was he destined to be left for his own and to bring only disgrace where he went??? Spiraling, he demaded Nightsong to make it up for him, and she agreed to pretty much everything, seeming to be feeling truly guilty and responsible...but Doveveil didn't trust her yet, and they were right not to!

When push came to shove, Nightsong didn't want to kill for them, Nightsong had been poisoned by eir new friend's beliefs and thought ey were above Doveveil! Fool, did ey think ey were really better for not wanting to kill?? Or were ey only willing to kill them...Doveveil felt like there was no other way but to kill this new friend. Nightsong fought him, finally showing eir powers, somehow both extatic and furious with em Doveveil engaged in fierce battle, blinded by his own hurt and need for revenge, he killed Nightsong. But as they died something different happened, instead of just coming back like usual Nightsong stayed like that, for hours, until the sun started to rise and so lu did again. Nightsong had died one last time, and was freed of the curse...completely lost, they tried to fight Nightsong again, but lu was stronger now and lu used this strenghth to leave with the new friend

Doveveil was alone again. I don't know what should happen to them I never really wrote an ending for his story in any iteration, but let's say at some point things get better for them and they get a redemption arc and a happy ending :]
