Dear Diary,

My name is Nak. I'm a shapeshifter, but that's not the most interesting thing about me. You see, I can can see into another dimension. This dimension is filled with creatures that create those who are in my dimension. My creator's name is Juju. As far as I know, I am the only one who can see into this dimension.

Dear Diary,

Juju tells me lots of stories. Stories about past friendships. Stories about adventures he went on with his family. Most of them are sad, but some of them are happy. Lots of the sad ones even have happy moments in them.

I remember this one story he told me about, when he was in a guild. He said it was from a mobile game called Final Fantasy XV, though I'm still not completely sure what that means. Anyways, he said the guild was called DOA. He joined it when he first joined the game. He just chose a random guild off of the recommendations list so he could get an achievement. Said he planned to leave later and try and find a really good guild.

He was surprised to find out that DOA was actually an amazing guild. While it was nowhere near the strongest, it was a very friendly guild filled with nice people. Especially the leader, Puffy Face. He called her Mama Puffy and she called him Baby Juju. He said it was nice to have people to talk to everyday since he had recently cut ties with his old best friends. He's log on everyday and spend hours chatting with Puffy and other from DOA.

One of my favorite stories about DOA is their rivalry with another guild. It started out when Puffy and Juju were talking in public chat and this different guild leader started trying to one-up them. It was a fun rivalry, though it did get intense. It started out with attacking each other's kingdoms but soon it grew more intense. At one point, the leader to the rivaling guild sent a secret message to Juju, asking him to become a spy in exchange for resources. Juju immediately told Puffy, who told Juju to agree and actually become a spy for DOA.

Juju got resources and gave false information to the rivaling leader for two weeks before Puffy had another idea. What if, Juju left DOA and joined their guild, but only for a little bit. DOA wanted to launch a large scale attack on the other guild and wanted Juju to distract them. So, Juju made up a lie that Puffy had caught him and kicked him from the guild, so the other leader would let him in. It worked and Juju was soon chatting amongst the enemy. It wasn't too hard to distract the whole guild while DOA prepared. Within the week, they attacked and destroyed the other guild.

Defeated and left to rebuild, the rivaling guild surrendered and Juju rejoined DOA. It was a fun time and everyone said good game. After that, DOA never had any real rivals, but they did form an alliance with two other guilds not long before Puffy, Juju, and most of the other members left DOA and in some cases, the game all together.

Juju says the last month is a huge blur since he tried to forget about it for awhile. He said that another guild infiltrated DOA and their allies, as if trying to create a rivalry. But unlike their last rivalry, this one got out of hand quickly. The "rivals" both inside and outside of DOA were often toxic, beating others down and saying hurtful things. Every time Puffy would bad one, they'd come back with an alt account. Toxic words soon turned into toxic behavior. Someone hacked into Puffy's account, sending out horrible messages as Puffy in an attempt to break DOA's allegiances with other guilds. Puffy quickly changed her password and email, but the damage was done. Almost everyone in the game started hating on Puffy. Juju tried to stand up for her, but that only caused people to last out at him too. It got so bad, that Puffy stepped down as leader of DOA, changed all their in game names and vanished from DOA. Only Juju was able to keep contact.

With Puffy gone, DOA descended into madness. One kind people had turned rude and bitter. New DOA members were no better. A lot of them turned of Juju due to their close connections with Puffy, calling them childish and demoting them from rank 4 down to rank 1. It didn't take long for Juju to leave DOA like Puffy had. By now though, Puffy had left the game all together, unable to escape the hate. Juju also left, finding the game depressing.

Puffy and Juju tried to keep contact outside of the game, but they slowly started talking less and less before eventually saying goodbye forever. Juju did attempt to rejoin Final Fantasy XV a few years later, but it just wasn't the same and never stayed longer than a few weeks.

Juju says they still often wonder what Puffy is up to nowadays and how they are doing. But with no way to contact them anymore, they have accepted the fact that they'll never know.

Dear Diary,

It’s been a long time since Juju told me a story. He said the past few months he’s been detached from my dimension, and hasn’t been able to hear me.

It’s been lonely without him. Most other creations don’t talk to me because I’m “weird”; but they just don’t understand. They can’t see what I see, and don’t want to believe that they were created by creatures in another dimension.

But late last night, Juju was having a hard night sleeping and managed to connect to me again. It was the first time in months he’s seen me and I was so happy. He decided to tell me a new story, like old times.

He told me the story of his lucky escape from a pair of Ceratosaruss.

Juju was playing on yet another ‘mobile game’, this one called Path of Titans. He was playing as a dinosaur called a Deinonychus and was roaming around a place called Spined Lizard Lagoon. He had been running around and his stamina was low when a pair of matching Ceratosaruss came out of the bushes and attacked him. He tried to run, but with little stamina, he couldn’t get far. Lucky for him; he managed to run into a nearby log that neither of them could fit into.

He sat down to regain stam; but the Ceratosaruss would not give up, waiting and blocking both sides of the log; leaving him no escape. Scared and sure he would die; Juju decided to give it his all. Once he had full stamina, he stood up and readied himself.

At this point, one of the Ceratosaruss had turned backwards in the log and tried to hit him with his tail; while the other was slightly pacing at the other end of the log. Juju took a deep breath and made a run for it. As he passed the pacing Ceratosaruss, it managed to bite him twice; but he missed the third bite and Juju managed to escape his jaws.

Holding on to his last sliver of health, Juju ran as fast as he could away from the now chasing Ceratosaruss. He jumped and weaved through bushes and trees, jumping off rocks and cliffs in an attempt to escape.

After jumping off a cliff and making a loop around; he managed to loose the Ceratosaruss. He quickly found a safe spot to lay down and heal; catching his breath as he silently celebrated.

I listened excitedly as Juju told me the story; but almost squealed when he said it wasn’t over.

A few days later, Juju was once again at Spined Lizard Lagoon on his Deinonychus. He had run into a friendly trio of crocs that had taken down a spino and shared their food with his small raptor. But things got better when a few minutes later, a familiar Ceratosarus rolled up to the spino corpse; hoping for a bite to eat. This time solo, the Ceratosarus found that the crocs were less welcoming to him and drove them away from both the corpse and the raptors they were feeding.

Hungry and angry, the now solo Ceratosarus recognized Juju’s deinonychus and roared in anger. Juju’s raptor just laughed as it stood over it’s large chuck of meat the croc had brought it earlier.

Begrudgingly, the Ceratosarus left; realizing it had no chase taking down any of the raptors due to the crocs protecting them. But, not without swearing to kill Juju’s raptor soon enough.

Sadly he held true to his word and the next day, caught Juju laying down in a large group of random dinos. While the Ceratosarus got the satisfaction of killing Juju’s raptor, it was quickly killed by the large group of dinos for destroying the peaceful vibe at Spined Lizard Lagoon that day.
