Aki

 Aki, in his wandering adulthood, has begun to be considered a bad omen by passers-by from the heavy wood he resides in... But he's actually quite harmless. Even with his super power and strength, he rarely- if ever- uses these things, unless benefitting his own survival. He isn't sure about the scope of his powers, or where they come from, but he wishes it wasn't his burden, already tired of having to defend his integrity from others. It's to the point that sometimes he doesn't try to put up a valiant effort-- why explain something even he cannot comprehend, to those that would immediately destroy him in untamed fear?

Even when around someone he can come to trust (though he hasn't been in such a situation in quite some time), he has a tough exterior, and is prone to being contrary out of pettiness, expecting people to push him away for any given reason.
Without reasons to distrust others, he still has a cranky demeanor, very hot-headed and blunt, showing his distaste or discomfort through snarling words, or even threatening others with violence.

Outside of all his woes and frustrations, he has a lot of energy and loves to wear himself out (far after others have been exhausted in comparison)... Many of the things that make life worth living to him are solitary pursuits, such as grooming hair, singing, and eating a lot of satisfying foods-- Aki would be fairly happy living in a world of one, where no one could hold him in contempt, where he wouldn't have to live with the paranoia of being hunted.

• Aki can be drawn either as a monkey anthro or flat-faced kemonomimi
• His teeth are red (big sharp monkey chompers, too)
• He does not wear paint or have tattoos-- everything on him is patterning/markings (so, not optional)
• Haircolor changes whether or not he is channeling power. It turns pale for an overabundance of power
• It is unknown is he has always been alone or once lived among civilization, as he seems to know a great deal about it
