Stoic, and a bit apathetic. Charlie never tried much to connect with other Diabs for many years...until he met Hayden. He met Hayden when he was first turned. Charlie felt something looking at Hayden's scared face and made a commitment to guide and protect him-and eventually, he fell in love. He is very protective, and worrisome-since Hayden gets startled and runs very easily. After they'd been together for a while, the two met Eli, who seemed a bit bratty, and the two were cautious since Eli is the youngest. However time showed Eli acted out because he felt alone, and through time, patience, and many laughs and tears, Charlie fell in love with Eli, too.
