Delphine

Born to a bourgeoise family in 1700s France, Delphine conned her way to the top - perhaps not the best idea, given that by the time  she was in her early 30s, the French Revolution was in full swing and her neck was next in line for the guillotine. Saved from the lasting end of the guillotine by a pair of helpful fangs the night before her execution, Delphine still bears the scar of her post-mortem beheading. Nowadays she wears a choker to cover the grisly scar.
