Akihiro

He was raised rather ignorantly on account of Humans being one of the most picked on lifeforms within this world, constantly berated and treated lesser, having mass eugenic campaigns throughout the years, etc. (most humans are naturally stronger and taller than what we in reality might consider).
What few humans are left are treated quite poorly even still and are often in hiding in fear of being 'hunted'.

He does not live anywhere near the safe-haven of the Plains (Nahu's territory). He lives basically in a hamlet of just a few other Human families, right next to a coastline.

Despite how others may view him, Aki thinks of himself as a plain fellow-- he thinks little of himself and his place in the big picture. He is very non confrontational, but secretly opinionated. He's easy to sway, though.
He's a humdrum fisherman who spends more time at work than he does relaxing or staying comfortable... Anything to provide his large family.

TRIVIA AND NOTES:
- In this world's day and age, there are minor cults that are dedicated to the worship of humans as being related to deities (conspiracy theories that assume humans were treated so poorly from the start due to the unfair genetic advantage they had... lol); some would consider Aki worth worshiping.
- Since humans are small in populace, they often take multiple spouses and have as many children as possible. aki has had four wives, two husbands, and fifteen children... though many spouses go about separate ways after helping 'rekindle' the population.
   as such, he technically only lives with two wives and five of his children. [and fwiw, no one gets a break in the 'survival' sense-- even the children have to work to help the family sustain themselves whomp whomp]
- His hair is REALLY long! He keeps it either braided up (in super loose bun-like braids), or it can be loose and wavy.
