- Google says that the average height of a cat is 9.1-9.8 inches, though it doesn't specify whether that's from the top of the head or the shoulders, so I guessed head and based Red's height off of that. (Her height is also from the top of her head to the ground.) If it turns out that it's actually supposed to be from the shoulders, please adjust accordingly. Also, I would love to see the source of that info.
