Christopher Moore is an American architect based in Black Maple. A down-to-earth, touch-the-grass kind of man, Christopher grooves into life with seemingly effortless ease, materialized in an optimistic and youthful personality. A mutual friend of Freddy Bates, he met his boyfriend Tony Blanco through the former, immediately starstruck by the man’s endearing timidness. Despite the relationship’s rocky start, Christopher’s adoration for him becomes Tony’s anchor, eventually pulling his lover away from the voids he’s fallen into.

About

Born in Black Maple, his parents’ work in creative sectors inspired his own journey into architecture, graduating his bachelor’s with distinction. While setting up his freelance business, he works in a local student bar as a musician and bartender to pay rent, seeking a roommate to ease up his hours at work to pay off his bills and to finally embark properly in his career. His friend Freddy eventually introduces him to Tony, who similarly looked for ways the latter could move out of his hometown—the pair moved in together into an apartment in Black Maple, before eventually entering a romantic relationship.

Christopher is remarked for his general admiration for simple things, as well as his youthful, yet conscious personality. With a keen eye on detail—both technical and social—Christopher is exceedingly good at reading others, which made most of his freelance ventures a smooth sail, only stopped by his limited years in experience and lack of funds at the newborn stage of his career. He finds joy in every day things, often taking a moment to experience everything in its stillness.

Trivia

1. He doesn’t like being called Chris, and prefers to be referred by his full name. Many close to him call him Christoph; he doesn’t seem to have any qualms about this one.
2. His father is Scottish; he briefly lived in Scotland in his teen years before returning to America.
3. Christopher’s nickname for Tony is Bonny, stemming from a trivial spew of Northern English words he learnt in his years in Scotland. He often sings My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean to amuse the other, out of endearment.
4. He is strictly straight-edge, and grew up vegetarian—though mysteriously makes very mean steaks and burgers, to his boyfriend’s awe. Christopher took up cooking seriously after the establishment of their relationship, determined to combat Tony’s picky eating habits.
